Capcom announced this evening that they will be streaming the secret Las Vegas Marvel vs. Capcom 3 event on Thursday.
I just realized that we're finally going to see more footage of Spencer now! YES!

If the public is gonna be playing this build, then we'll probably be seeing the same few characters played over and over and over again like in the last streamed event.
Dante, Deadpool, Ryu VS. Dante, Skrull, Deadpool.
That's the problem with these events. People are so afraid of losing that they'll always pick the easiest characters to spam and win. I remember seeing a match where two Skrulls did NOTHING but tenderizer back and forth until the time ran out. It was rare to see a match that DIDN'T have Dante in it. I really wanted to see how some of the newcomers played, but nobody ever picked 'em. I actually stopped watching because I got so friggin' bored seeing the same characters using the same tactics back and forth.
I'm still excited for this event and I'm gonna watch the live stream, but I hope it doesn't end up like the last ones. Tourney people have WAY too big of egos.
Alright, let's make a little game out of this everyone. Because they've been doing reveals almost always in pairings(correct me if I'm wrong), let's see who can actually call the next two characters. Whoever wins will earn my utmost respect :D. I'm gonna go ahead here and say that the next characters are gonna be Megaman and Hsien Ko. As much as I wish that Cyclops was making a return, I just don't think it's gonna happen.
@22 when i play i will not play Dante trust me I may have ryu for a few matches but other than that im using V joe, ammeratsu and maybe arthur or C viper or one of the two new ones just keep an eye or ear out for my name

They haven't made any mistakes at all.
Not having Bison isn't a mistake, especially since Akuma is more popular anyway.
As for Megaman, remember that Ryu is also Capcom's mascot, especially when it comes to fighting games(Which the Marvel vs series is).
Hopefully Megaman is in, but we can live without him if he isn't.

People who are lucky enough to attend these events can play as whoever they want, of course. But as long as I see gameplay footage of newer (and already underplayed) characters, I will be able to call it a successful day.

Cool, glad to here of someone who actually likes a little variety in their character choices. I look forward to seeing any of your gameplay if it shows up on the stream.
Hope they reveal Frank West!... maybe some Jill and Shuma gameplay would be nice to see too.
I'm waiting for it because that means new characters are going to be tomorrow or late tonight(because it's tomorrow in japan) and final announcement in early Feb

Pheonix is not in they already deconfirmed her (Jean Grey, whos is THE ONLY PERSON to become dark Phoenix, and they're trying to be some what close to the comics this time so no they're not going to break the rules)
Hsien-Ko has also been deconfirmed since she's a darkstalkers character, and I love how no one pulled for male Darkstalker characters.
It's going to be either the megaman(which I hope is starforce or EXE) or Frank West/Chuck Green(i'm pulling for chuck because I want combo weapons). the Marvel character I'm pulling for SG still, if not her than cloak and dagger
Hopefully Marn's there to show off his Viper. We all know he has been playing the game secretly with Capcom.

Marvel side, silver s, carnage, sentry, Vulcan, black bolt, nitro. Not many villains, kinda leaning against that. As for capcom, Samanosuke Akechi , bass. Haven't read official decomfrimations, so don't rant.

i 'm so friggin tired of all these gotdamn!!! fake azz rosters...i mean every since the game was announced ...there has been a list of who's in and who's out...so far the only correct list have been the ones capcoms confirmed...come on ppl think use ur head...if seth or ono...dont hint the characters...9 times out of 10...every other suppose 2be list leakers...r wishful fanboys wit 2 much time on their hand...trust me...i dont think a well known powerhouse like capcom will make that easy for secretes to leave off the table...my advice..WAIT AND WATCH:) to the fake leakers
