X cody has a unique spin on his super. It is his original chain combo series from the final fight game, he can walk backwards too as if he was in his old game... but here you can do some nifty stuff with some timing. Xism default trait is higher guard meter and does more damage, downside no alpha counters or air blocking. Also Xism supers dont get the bonus from being xism as you would think its just and auto level 3 for most people.
Eh Juni and Juli have basically cammy moveset split apart between the 2 and slightly modified. Juli is in the game in thawk ending and is basically brain dead.
Juli- difference was she had a 360 command grab and charge motions for her version of cannon spike and cannon arrow and her super.
Juni- plays mostly like cammy without air cannon strike or hooligan.
Wouldnt have added much variety to the game imo altho i like Juli in A3 cause of command grab on a small chick=win

In my years the most surprising small chick in games was from KOF ninety-something. She was about 100 lbs/43kg and she was a sumo-type.

@#8 Hinako was the little powerful sumo chick kof2000, tried using her in kof 2002um but everyone is on the capcom fighters so MEH, no one to play with.
IMO i think them 2 do add enough uniqueness no one has the roll kick Yang has nor his super art and ultra. Yun and makoto seems to have the only ultras you can juggle afterwards. No one else has a lunge punch, and Guy and Yun the only ones with some shoulder charge move that puts them in a juggled state. OF course unique super art too that not bounded but ultra meter( poor juri)
Last but not least that damn palm move, adds something different to it all.

Rose can and Ryu can if someone dares pokes him while he does it in the corner, and Dhalsim can if the jump into it.
Man did they need to have Yun have the juggling ULTRA 1? He already can combo into it with ease and he gets more damage off of it? Looks like him and Rufus' similarities keep showing.
I mean it's kinda sad you had to think about some of the moves that makes them unique when Karin, Birdie, Q, Oro, 12, Sodom etc were over looked for them.

when i was thinking of similarities between ultra as in they are both physical hitting ones(Yun and makoto) while sim and rose are projectile like with set ups needed for juggled states(havent seen ryu do it tho O_o)
Yun sa1 from sf3 series had the same property, would only be fair if they left it that way. But that ultra itself doesnt do insane damage on its own compared to a raw U2 from him. Makes sense that U1 is easy to combo into.
Karin not being in i cant understand really, unless it was the fact that trying to implement her would take longer to get the AE edition than going with the twins. Birdie and Sodom would of ended up garbage like thawk and hakan are now and there design is generally bland for the most part( altho sodom going into xism he had swords instead of sais in which gave him slightly more range) Twelve? capcom had enough problems dealing with Sim limbs.
Oro would of gotten striped down so much due to the nature of his super arts having 2 versions and the set ups behind them. Wouldnt want to picture the scaling on tengu stones or having only 1 orb super to do unblockable sets ups like is 3s.
Q i would of like in but he would have moves like balrog but with them odd bad normals he has, and no taunt health increase... but would be nice if they drop some back story on the man..thing... whatever he is.

Unfortunately even the people that was working on AE edition are bound by time limitations set by capcom, and have other projects to work on. So im sure they didnt have that luxury of putting in just anyone they wanted by setting aside the time for it.
Cody has no cops chasing after him, they probably wouldnt have there appointed people surrounding them. Just more models to make and programming to be done just for something that simple.I dont think its a engine limitation just they probably dont have the time for it or just dont feel like its worth it.
Maybe with luck they will put karin and rolento on the possible console update with the twins, cant rule them out just yet.
@#14 Go use Xism dan in alpha 3 and hit people with his taunts. Seems like alot of people dont know about it, so show them the saikyo way. Roll forwards taunt anti air! Flying yahoo taunt as a jump in! thats all you need!
I always prefer Juli over Cammy and Juni. Like I've always said sometimes even the look of a character can motivate someone to use them, even if they're clones. I wouldn't mind having her on SSFIVAE of course if just wishful thinking from my part, by this time it doesn't matter much since SSFIV got so many characters that all my fav are already on the game...
but if i could choose it would be: Juli and Rolento for the fact that i'd use them.

After player Super and Vanilla for so long, I feel like I need faster paced games. SFIV is just too slow for me now. MvC3 and KOF XIII can't come fast enough :)

lol thats a bit harsh, but as we see already the twins popularity showing while people never really gave rufus that kinda love even after he was found to be very good. granted while Rufus is a good character the way his appearance is and his name isnt appealing at all, probably why people could careless about him lol.
But them doing a bunch of cloning work and mvc3 released date pushed up makes me think capcom is trying to get the projects out the door and start making and releasing content for it later. While i dont work for capcom, i have been involved with game programming and what not. Sometimes its almost like that in simple terms, deadlines, production costs, other potential releases, staff between projects and of course holidays seasons.When they say go its means go!

I mean with MvC3 you have 90% of the moves ripped from their previous version instead of giving us new tools.
You wanna see effort? Look at BlazeBlue after Guilty Gear them made and ENTIRELY NEW GAME with only tiny yet familiar elements from GGXX. Would Capcom ever do that nowadays? Nope! You know why? EventScrub Trolls will whine about it not being the same. And I have a feeling that the new Capcom would screw it up.
They keep basing their game around Ryu and they wonder why people dont respect their games as much as they used to. SF3 was NOT based around Ryu/Ken at ALL and it showed and people cant get enough of that game!

-Ignoring alot of Capcom's history...like they did with SF3 characters when SF4 came out.
-No true innovations in the system (every thing in the game was done in previous games) XFC is like FADC and Focus revive combined.
I never knew Cody X-ism Super is actually a CC. Nice **** from V-Ryu. I thought he only played 3s and SSF4.
Man Screw that, people do respect Capcom, they respect them alot we just wonder why they do dumb **** sometimes. There are so many things the fans want obviously but they come up with so many excuses, I try to understand but each excuse just seems silly even from a buisness perspective. Capcom IS respected thats why we are so hard on them. Look at it that way.
Also While Yun and Yang are nice im disappointed they continue to pass by certain characters like Karin. I miss her soooo much she was teh one that got me started in Majors when Alpha 3 came out and was my second to Guy. I was playing a bit of A3 the other day and forgot how easy she was to play, very powerful normals you don't even need to utilize all her specials and compatible in almost all of her Isims.
This video made me realize that I'm not happy with SSFIV AE. Why? Because the only real NEW characters added are Yun and Yang. Those two are possibly my least favorite characters from 3rd Strike. What happened to the possibility of adding R Mika, Elena, Q, Hugo, or any of the other characters people asked for. I didn't see hardly anyone asking for Yun and Yang, but whatever.

yes there are moments where Time>>>care. whether its the case of capcom or not is up for dispute. And unlike most companies they cant get away with what nintendo does when it comes to delays.
As we already had stories posted here on eventhubs about project directors being under CapCom pressure to get certain things into the game and the game out. As they where hesitant on releasing another street fighter to begin with. Their seems to be an internal conflict within the company itself so we cant always rule out that they are disrespecting fans or anything of that sort.
COD is a blatant cash cow, and final fantasy makes me wonder more and more about wtf they are thinking about especially with that FF14 garbage.... my god that was a terrible experience. Dont think its safe to assume that people in general dont respect capcom games, its just people have grown attached to things and they are deeply concerned about the well being of the situation.
Blazblue to you may seem like they but effort into it, but from a business stand point i dont think it hold up well against the friendly sf4 series. keep in mind last time capcom tried that stunt of mixing it all up, they went back to the basics for a reason. Casual friendly or not,let the money talk :(

So much easier to do themed stages in 2d, pumping them out is not an issue. 3d on the other hand more efficient to do basic theme stages that dont really apply to anyone.

The SF series is fine but there are really head-scratching decisions for it. (no need to make it THAT easy to do moves)
RE5 is fine sans Sheva too but once again the past games were more enjoyed.

It takes a lot of time to develop all of the art for a stage - and that's not including the careful polishing process of checking it out - is the background too distracting? Is it lively enough? Is it too repetitive/does it have memorable elements, etc.
If they threw in a stage for each character, we'd just be getting SSF4 recently and probably would have played full price.
As for new chars...Yun was my favorite in SF3, so I'm set. Ibuki was second.
Q, Sodom, 12 or 13 or whatever the damned thing was...it amazes me that people think those types of chars take precedence over tourny picks, fan favorites, etc. Elena was cool, and I hoped to see her, but I was fairly sure Ibuki was going to be added before her.

A horribly programmed...on purpose character that only served as to assist you in thing that could have been made to do on your own or with a cameo.
She wouldnt use what you want
She wasted all the ammo in her inventory whined about it until you gave her some. "I need ammo!" "SHUT-UP WOMAN!!"
She got in the way MANY MANY times because you could not control her path and would run PURPOSELY into danger forcing you to stop what you are doing to save her.
When Rebecca was in danger in RE4 it was YOUR fault not crappy game design. Rebecca ALWAYS stayed close or you can hide her away from danger. She DUCKED from bullets in her path unlike Sheva who seemed like she likes a shotgun to the back of the head!
So...we hate the IDIOTS who OKd Sheva's HORRIBLE A.I. NOT her skin color...she could have been GREEN and RED with polka-dots! Cacpom made her DUMB so we URGED to get a real-life partner!

When she got and herb, she didnt care if you were healthy or not she used it as soon as she was near you.

Stages weren't developed for every character because it's obviously a lot more work. Things are much more time consuming in a engine that SF4 works with, especially the visuals and cinematics. Though I'd like to see some new ones, personally.
Also, Zangief must use his normals before using his grabs. A whiffed grab gets you combo'd. Instead make them fear your normals (normally standing light kick/mp) and mix-up the SPD's/Atomic Suplexes. You can't just throw grabs out there...that's far too predictable.

Now that Gief's Light SPD HUGE range was increased more in AE he is more feared than ever!
The only option is stick and move preferably jumping back or eat a 50/50 with Lariat 200dmg or Light SPD 200 dmg.
You better know your linx around Gief in AE!

V-ism and open juggles ruined A3, it was one of those SF games with the weirdest hitboxes design ever too. Capcom should have kept A2's engine with the tweaks introduced in A2G and reduction of overall CC damage.
You kno a great street fighter game if zangief only grabbed once out of the whole last match. but i love the alpha series it was so fun.
I remembered the Alpha series were bashed during it's time. People were saying it would never be as good as the SSF2 era. Now Alpha 3 is considered a masterpiece just because it's being compared to SSF4 not saying that Alpha 3 sucks, it's a really good game. In 5 years, fans will be like "SF5 sucks, SSF4 was so much better".
