Official Bay Area Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament Jan. 27

Capcom, along with GameSpot, is going to be hosting an official Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament in the San Francisco Bay Area on January 27th.

For those of you unable to attend, GameSpot will be providing online coverage.

Beyond this, there weren't other details provided, but more information will be made available with time.

they're both songs mine is a Bay Area Rap song, Monkey D Hugo, is qouting the lyrics to "Sitting on the Dock of the bay"

I qouted mine because it's about an up and coming person in the that is coming from the Bay Area.

So the tourney is going to be full of spammer that don't know how to play the game and a few that probably played the game before hand exclusively with Capcom (maybe Justin Wong, Sanford Kelly, and a couple other MVC2 pros)

This is stupid but I'll watch cause I want MvC3 nao.

@18 Of course there's going to be spammers,the game isn't even out yet and the people that did play it chances are didn't get enough time with the game to really learn how to do anything.I'd cut them some slack.

Lol all I'm saying is that it just doesn't seem right that, if it's a real tourney, you have to pay to play when almost nobody in the world has actually tried the game out yet. It's not going to be interesting until the end when only the previous MvC2 pros and a few other pros that tried the game out previously (like Justin Wong, Marn, Sanford, and Yipes... if they show up).
