At the end of the 3rd vid, it looks like even if you hit Yang out of the startup of his attack, the after-image will still finish it's attack regardless. That's pretty scary. That means you can't mash your way out.
Will AE be available on consoles early enough for EVO2011? I don't think so.
@11 Well he should have just jumped out but old habits die hard. No one currently has an Ultra like this but the twins so usually if you escape pressure you just neutral jump and beguin your attack but escaping seems like the best choice.
No way these guys are coming home in this state they getting nerfed hard. I can hear Haggers footsteps as we speak.
I want to say it's because no one has learned the match up but two of the best SF players Japan and US are using the twins obviously so I don't know. Im kind of disappointed now because I wanted to use Yun but now he's gonna be so whored :(
Capcom have made a mistake in only bringing 2 new characters to AE. Yeh, of course certain characters have got better and that's good enough for some, but for most who get AE for console they're going to want to play a new character. So constant matches against Yun and Yang are a definite.
yeah i would love to actually play the damn game but i mean what can i expect from capcom? i honestly just want to play the game, i live no where near an arcade and im not flying to japan so thanks capcom. i will be playing yun and yang when everyone else is already bored of them thanks capcom =/

From the way things are shaping up in AE, I believe it's going to be a lot of Yun vs Yang in Major tournaments this year. A lot of top players are maining either one of them. And we already have another potential blockbuster match up taking shape as we speak in the East vs West rivalry! Daigo vs Justin Wong! Keeping the old rivalry alive no less!
Man o man I love Street fighter so much! Especially with the addition of the twins and how the whole community is using both of them, instead of just going with one twin!
Hopefully we'll also get other new characters via time-released option soon so the scene won't be too littered with Yun vs Yang players and thus adding more character variety to the scene.

Cant wait for console AE. Its a must that they put new characters. Its gonna be pretty stale with just the twins. Still rooting for rmika. Alex & Hugo as well, but rmika more. We got el fuerte and guy, now rmika should be next with similar playstyle.

I see these characters nerfed, maybe around console release. Capcom loves nerfing now that they hired mike hagger. Poor abel and cammy, put lots of ice you two. Surprised el fuerte wasnt in the picture. Kind of sucks now that arcade players are getting use to them. Then BAM. they get haggerized.
Reading tokido's blog he said yun is godlike.......and that he needs to practice more against yun and yang.....or just switch to yun......he went down from grand master to AAA+
@33: SSF4 brought a total of 7 new characters, and all you guys care about are the god-mode twins (CAPCOM has once again got out of their way to make them THE best characters in the series).
That's why I was confused about your line regarding 'character variety'.
This is banana crazy. Yeah, I'm excited about the twins, but I'm kinda sick of so many people picking them up now. It seems like every pro now except Mago and Inthul(so far mind you) has went to Yun and Yang.
People are going to try out the new characters because it's fresh...Not everyone will stick with it...They also need to know how to counter the new characters and the best way to do that is to pick it up...then they will know their strengths and weakness.
i couldn't tell, but are they going with the yun walk animation from sf3, capcom vs snk2, or alpha 3 max?
@ 37.. Hey, they're new in ssfiv. so naturally I would be curious and amused as to how they play in ssfiv. And out of all the new cast in ssfiv that they added, I was only interest with Adon for a little while. i guess i like the play style of Yun and Yang better than the new characters of Super when it first came out. It's all a matter of preference and of course being fun to play with. And Yun and Yang seems so much more fun to play with than say Thawk, makoto, cody, guy and the others. not to mention they're also legit tourney capable characters. so that is an added bonus imo.
Well since Johnny Yong Bosch is voicing yang by video game rule i have to drop mains and play him just like i put zero on my MvC3 team

Sweet, can't wait to switch to 2 new unnerfed characters! Was getting incredibly bored of having to learn multiple matchups due to more than a couple of fighters being viable
Yun/Yang are not easy mode characters, like Makoto and Dudley, good execution and constant rush down is required to play them well.
The never ending army of Ryu/Ken will still be prevalent online, just as I rarely run into a good Rufus (like seriously....ever).
I wanna see Vangief take on the twins. xD

You know what? I personally think they made the twins this powerful on purpose! I mean how else your gonna attract people to the arcades if your gonna have more crappy new characters right? Think about it, Yun and Yang are the poster child of Arcade Edition. If they did'nt make them that powerful they would be forgotten and most people would probably stay at home playing SSFIV version. The Twins are the reason the game is making money at Japanese arcades now, not Makoto, not Fei Long, it's Yun and Yang.
100 Bucks says these suckers are gonna get nerfed when they come to consoles.
You know i'd much prefer a new disc than DLC, even if it costs more.
DLC = tied to your console, people without net or with slow net won't even be able to downloadit, and you'll still need your original SSF4 disc.
Total cost of entry will be higher overall, plus they're not likely to attact any new players if they knew they'd need to buy SSF4 as well. I'd rather they did a new disc, and then maybe offered a rebate if you can show an SSF4 proof of purchase.
JWong's Yang rocks! I remember in the Japanese video set on Tokido's blog Nemo's Yang didn't lose a single match either.

Because not every Yun player were tier whores that only lived saying that he was the coolest twin because he was so strong in 3rd Strike. And that now say that Yang was always their favourite because he looks stronger in this AE. Just like Justin, a well known tier whore is doing.

@7 He also does Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach too. But his voice really fits with Yang.
But Yang is definately a character I want to play. Pure awesome. A new addition to my collection... x3
