Considering this matter appears to be resolved, it's reasonable to assume that other glitches in the game have probably been looked at as well, which is good news.
gen was bottom tier in sf4 and was nerfed to trash in ssf4. was he good? no. capcom doesnt simply change in terms of balance but also in terms of "how should the character be played". fuerte's nerf were in terms of "noob friendly ness" (excuse the term) it was just to much of a "braindead" skill. same with cammy cannon spike and blanka balls. and u2 nerf was hella justified.
also, I think you lack the knowledge of how the infinite is done. it requires good execution skill and training.
You made it sound as if only one thing was nerfed for EL Fuerte.
The only thing people complained about was the damage.
But they nerfed the damage, the speed and the distance by half...so much to the point where pros are using the other ultra more.
And ALL of his main specials were nerfed. Not Honda. Not Bison. They only got one. ALL of Elf's mains were nerfed.
One question, has there been any footage of the Evil Ryu/Oni Gouki at all since AE's release or what? :/
@ gtfopanda
I don't complain about it, it's not an easy move. But try fighting Poongko's El Fuerte. He does it more than 20 times in a row, if you block it or not, he doesn't give a f*ck, he just keeps doing it. And you just can't do anything about it if you're his opponent.
omg stop complaining about Fuertes loop. such hypocrites. complaining about a char they dont even use. if hes so broken with his loop then pick him up and do it constantly in a real match. im sure you'll smash your sticks trying out of frustration before you can get to his second fierce.
@12
the reason Poongko can do it is because hes a pro and has practiced for it. if you do the same then you WILL do the same. i see that you said your not complaining about it which is good. unlike mr_clack who complains about every damn thing he struggles with. what happened to the good ol' days where if you couldnt deal with something, you either learned to deal with it or you stfu and gtfo.
@4
its not an infinite. theres almost no infinites in this game, due to damage scaling and stun increase. sooner or later the number of Fuertes RSF will not catch up to stun increase. at the beginning of the match a 7hit RSF will dizzy. after a while it wont and you will be able to get out of it. btw everyone who does complain about should stop, theres no point really. Capcom will not take it out, no matter how much you kids whine. its a hard move to do constantly and its his only move to compensate for being a crappy (terms of teir) character.
Talkin about Fuerte...well in that case I'm gonna mention that i've done all the trials in the game and El Fuerte's loop was the last one i did (except abel's trials which weren't hard). The 2nd fierce is easy to get to but the 3rd one takes some major concentration. I can't imagine myself doing any more than that myself. But they kept this in the game because el fuerte doesn't have many if any damaging combos to back up his hit and run playstyle. even other low-health characters like viper have some high execution combos (involving fierce) that do great damage in case their opponent leaves themselves open.
On Ibuki, good to see this glitch fixed. I reckon capcom tried to be too fancy with the programming of that air throw last time. It's the only normal air throw that involves more than just plucking/dropping them to the ground.
They're both good in their own ways. Although SSF4 suffers from being the latest game from the SF series. 5 years later, it'll be known as one of the best game ever made with 3s, CvS2, Alpha 3, and SSFT2.
To all the El Fuerte haters, do you actually know the inputs needed for the loop? It's not simply pressing one button, do your homework... and secondly, finding a situation where you can first of all GET IN and be in a situation that you can use the combo makes it not worth while. Best case is to focus crumple, and just with that, the total damage will be less due to combo scaling off the focus attack.
I know one bug that won't be fixed... Chun-Li's EX spinning bird kick where people just jump straight into it and take no damage whatsoever, not even needing to block!! Wasted meter and a free punish. Well hey, hazanshu is a free punish, EX SBK can be a free punish because of that bug, her Ultra 1 in the corner is a free punish... Capcom, why don't you just take her stamina down to 20 and give her 10 stun?

watch the whole vid. it may be a little blurry but its good enough

one more thing i know its vanilla but the point freefaller was making is that its been 3 titles so far in the SF4 series and they still havent fixed it.
All glitches fixed except that Infinite HARD PUNCH El Fuerte can do.
