Funny, it's tool assisted but it's not that far from how a real match between top players looks like :p 3S is such an elegant game, and this video is very well done shows a lot of cool stuff. Just as good as the 3S bit in the Ryu vs Chun-Li video.

Gouki.com is giving away 2 copies of Marvel vs Capcom 3. A fight stick and a t-shirt too!

http://gouki.com/Story/Details/marvel...

on topic: I actually really like these videos, I always sucked at 3rd strike.

@ 6 Abel is a wanna be Sean and Sean is a wanna be Terry Bogard---Crack Shoot!

Sean is Roll and Abel's roll is from SNK games
Abels Falling Sky grab is from SNK
Viper's burn knuckle variations and ground slam is from Terry Bogard SNK.
El Fuerte's moves are a little bit R Mika and Hugo
Rufus is too easy
Juri and Hakan...most of their special's Ive never seen before.
Though Juri's pinwheel sums up ONO's team creativity with new Ultras...Spin Spin SPIN!!!

BTW great vid eventhough it's as real as ProWrestling!

@ 14
Yun wins WAY too much in reality and since this is TNA-Like...

Yeah I see that the Yang's rekkas are shorter distance than Fei's and does the same damage.

That speed boost Yang has is kinda...lame?

@Mr_Clack Rufus was actually a reimagining of the Twins long before they were decided to be put into the game. Anyone with good eyes can see a lot of his moves are in some ways a visual variation of the twins actual moves.

jt.hk is Yun
f+hp is Yun
Dive Kick is Yang/Yun
fs.hk a variation of Yang/Yun cl.st mk launcher

I don't see much Fei Long in the twins, you may want to look at Karin for that.

To futher speculate Yun and Yang are in some ways split variances of Gen and his two stances. Especially the kick specials. yang barrows from Gen more though and probably an inspiration after New Generation when they Twins actually became different characters.

Hakan you havent seen because they based his moves completly on a untouched martial art. Juri is essentially an Evil Kim Kapwan, look at his moves versus hers specifically spin, spin SPIN!!!

Yun and Rufus's overhead (f.mk) is the exact same animation as well. At least in AE.

Okay, after seeing that, I will now only use Sean and Hugo, I will not ever use Yun for funsies anymore. Tool assist or not. It should not be possible to get a combo higher than 5, it is almost like the game takes after MvC, but toned down. I thought SF was all about technique, but it seems to be about keeping your opponent in the air forf an unnatural amount of time. I LOVE THIS GAME!

@#9 Mr_Clack
You could of done a better comparison with them characters :P

Sean and abel both have access to a slow low grab, both have overhead heel kick and rolls. Granted ken had a roll and heel kick before them in previous games.

Goro Daimon had a falling sky like move in Kof and also a seismo ground pound which hits low from anywhere on the screen.

El fuerte fights like Ramon from Kof. Ramon had the run command with various follow ups including wall hopping into grabs. And can use the run stop to chain together moves altho limited more in kofs.

Juri fights like Jhun Hoon from Kof. pinwheel kick, jhun other stance is like Juri's and has access to a counter, and air dive kicks im similar fashion. And kicks that works like juris projectiles but his arent fireballs just slices of wind.

Yea i could of avoided this post but i play both capcom and snk games >_<

On topic: i wanna see someone try to mirror that with ssf4AE one day

@ Ren&StimpyFan

Awesome info. Nice to see Capcom blatantly steal from SNK like SNK stole from them in the early years.

By your post it would ironic if someone loved those characters and moves but hate King of Fighters.

PS. I forgot about Ramon he has the running splash and grab too like El Fuerte...There was another girl who had Running grab moves... She had short red hair and her bangs covered her eyes. Also Blue Mary has moves kinda like him...the Guacamole is kinda like hers.

Capcom...SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!

@#36
The short red head, are you refering to Shermie of the orochi team? Man they seriously need CvS3!!!
Also Ramon and fuerte have the same viva mexico pose too.

And Blue Mary shes more of a sambo fighter with the hit then grab follow up type thing... sounds more like abel O_o

Dont worry man it seems like capcom and snk borrow off each other time to time, seeing how vanessa from kof reminds me of dudley :D

Just looked it up Blue Mary and Abel fighting styles are based of combat sambo >_< might as well throw Dragonov from tekken in that loops too lol :D

oh yea and POWDERED TOAST MAAAAAN! just because you called me out on it

@#38
Vanessa started as a striker in kof99 and playable in kof2000.
Dudley came out in like 97 with the first sf3:NG
And to add heavy D from kof98 but he dont count towards anything

We can go on forever on how each company copied from one another lolz.

yeah like powdered said they need a CvS3 to settle the score once again. Juri vs Kim man, that would be epic.

@Mr. Clack
You say that most of Hakan's moves you have never seen right? Have you ever played Street ex series. Hakan is a copy cat off of Darun Mister with a heavily modified moveset. Oil Slide though seems to come from my fav in the gave Skullomania who has Skullo dive without the extra hit. Darun has a tornado ddt which he leaps forward in the same fashion as Hakan's Oil Dive. Their look is the same although if you ask me Hakan's face resembles Apocalpyse mostly.

Also the reason the twins have traces of Gen is because Gen is of course responsible for training the twins. Yang's moves deal more with the finger tips which Gen is known for. Yun's moves are mostly more of the speedy and aerial type hence why he does so well in the air vs Yang's air game.

It is the music theme for Yun and Yand in Third Strike. This music is indeed inspired by the James bond Theme
