A few new Marvel vs. Capcom 3 points have come up recently. Here's a brief rundown.
• Ryota Niitsuma said the first announcement in January for MvC3 is coming faster than you think at an American event. CES 2011 is right around the corner, January 6 - 9, but Capcom wasn't listed as one of the exhibitors on the CES site, although some of their employees will officially be attending the event. It's possible this statement will come into play at a different place, though.
• Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be shown at various video game expos in Japan on January 16, 22, 23 and 30th, so we may hear more about the game during these times.
• MvC3 will require 1.5 GBs of hard drive space, at least for the PlayStation 3 version.

im tired of just two characters a month, a trailer per character and two matches and nothing else until the next reveal. id rather see videos of new characters showing off moves and possible combos than just matches that are rigged. some set ups with assist characters, colors,etc. im glad january is the last full month of wait for this game.

Its for smoother load times usually. Its pretty much a non-issue since you can up the HDD size of a PS3 in less than 5 minutes and $50.

funny enough Frank wets plays a significant part in the overall story not gonna spoil it though.
level 3 hyper =Frank West lost his Dead Rising Hyper from TvC, for obvious reasons, and had it replaced with a different move with the same name. Chuck Greene comes out and says "I've got your back, buddy". Chuck beats the opponent down with the boxing gloves with knives attached. He combos the opponent and knocks him/her Frank's way, then Frank baseball bats him/her. Then Chuck and Frank give each other a high-five and Chuck walks off. I expected something a little more epic.

I like the MvC3 roster so far. Every character is unique in terms of desing and moves. i dont know why so much ppl complain about the roster all day. And I also belive the next character reveals going to be the most unexpected so far. I wonder if these so called "insiders" who somehow gets the scoop on these reveals and list are actually tooting their own horn a bit. It's like they find out Taskmaster is gonna be in there but then throw a bunch of other crap in their just to draw attention to themselves good or bad. Using a process of elimination based on inside info. I mean I don't know what the gain is but it's just kind of silly. In the end the characters are already decided it's a matter of waiting.
If there is anyone on the rumor list I hope is on there is Elektra, she is probably my most favorite Female Marvel girl and I like her design next to Psylock. I even have a slick looking Elektra on my Soul Calibur 4 character model. Heres hoping.

2)frank west is on it, if they were advertising frank west's silleutte that means they had to have him somewhat finished by the time they announced the game. all signs point to him still being in it, 1. the silleutte being on she hulk's wheel, 2. silleutte is still on the website, 3. the episode two trailer with the pilot was realased in sept. the roster was finalized in augest and that pilot is clearly wearing west's clothing

The only silhouette that's unanswered for is Frank West. When Seth Killian first made that comment to take the silhouettes with a grain of salt that was around the time Viper's silhouette was discovered. Viper as you know has already been revealed so that only leaves Frank West up for question. You can't call someone retarded for taking to heart what an actual capcom rep said. Anyway I'm not saying Frank isn't in because truthfully I don't care one or the other, but you still shouldn't be so positive about something you have no clue about.

As much as I'm praying for Frank and Megaman, capcom has been responsible for a lot of terrible stuff lately, it's not out of the realm of possibility that they would make the stupid mistake of not including those two.

I want Megaman in this game so bad but I think Capcom will purposely leave him out so they can make him a DLC to make a big profit off the game along with the rest of the original MVC 1&2 Cast. It makes sense from a business point of view, everyone is crying about who they want from the original titles to be in the game and hasn't returned so they know they will get their money if they make them DLC.

I could've mistaken wesker for frank maybe, I could be wrong. But I never tried to say that he was in as a fact. Lupinko's list has been true so far. So until proven otherwise, his is the most legit.
I guess this is the reason why game developers never talk about game information too much. Constant conflicts over nothing and way too much snooping around when all you have to be is patient and let them do what they need. Those that complain about the flaws usually still buy the product.. Which is pointless and in the end its downright moronic. It really should not matter what list is real or not.. Until the entire roster is revealed... Every list has the potential of being fake... Does not matter who you say your source is and how accurate they were in the past.. Until the day we as a whole, know the whole cast.. Your friends, your so called sources who know people, or work at Capcom in any way... They all6 could possibly be wrong...

Actually I guess Lupinko's list is pretty credible for guessing Jill and Shuma as DLC characters.
But it's pretty retarded how it missed Thor, an already announced character. Seriously, how do you f**k that up with a leaked list?
Unlike the other lists that were just guesses pulled out of people's asses, Lupinko has revealed sensitive information that has been proven to be true, such as specifically stating Jill and Shuma would be DLC and specifically stating Viper would keep her EX and focus moves. He also got the button combination for using Vipers EX moves correct as well, this was proven at the recent Portugal test.
If anything, Lupinko's list is the only one that anyone should have put any trust into. Anyone that believed in the other lists were complete idiots, but it's entirely understandable to follow Lupinko after he's already proven to be reliable based on what we've already seen.

He said he was forgetting a character when making the list. Someone corrected him and said Thor, and he said he always forgets that dude was in the game. This list was made long after Thor was announced, so I don't see anything wrong with this excuse. If it was made before Thor, then that'd be understandable to doubt, but we all already knew he was in the game at the point Lupinko made this, and Lupinko specifically stated in his post he was forgetting someone from the Marvel side.
By the way, Lupinko's list is composed of information he's gathered by himself from conversations with someone inside. He was never sent a text file saying "here's all the characters in the game".
If you want to know his other unconfirmed information he's dropped, he said Phoenix revives to Dark Phoenix when the team goes down with a full 5 specials.He talked about Taskmaster a bit too, but I'll have to find his post on that. He said there's a Metro City stage (not knowing the name of it and just listing details of what he was told of the stage), but this isn't exactly hard to guess when we all know Haggar is in the game.

I like SS over Human Torch (Jim or Johnny) simply because the fact is unlike Super Skrull or any other fire using character the Human Torches are made of pure fire and only make more fire so that'd eat up ram, they had to put a screen effect on Vipers fire moves because they probably eat the s*** out of the ram if they tired to render them without the fliter

yeah I said it because I really rather have one character that's pretty alright, then compared to the fantastic four especially since you can only play 3 at a time(which defeats the purpose to me) and also gives space for more original ideas like (Like She-Hulk's moveset, or Thors mix of distance and close range game or Dormammu's power of the destroyer/creator)

Arthur's level 3 is two 3D models of dragons and 1 repeated explosion (that's about MODOK sized) effect, not actual fire.
Super Skrulls levels 1 is a very small radius (his flaming brust one is full screen but not that detailed if you closely, his flaming drill is even less detailed) and if you look closley you can see it's not all that much flame it's about the same model for the flame surrounding the character and the character's not made of fire during those moments unlike Johnny (http://www.fantastic-four.nl/Htorch.jpg) and Jim (http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/...)

Viper's flame kicks actually doesn't have that blinding effect. I think it had something to do with how they made that video. There was another version of the same vid that didn't have that solar flash effect. It just looked orange and red.

For some odd reason, I believe Foools list to be true. Especially with the announcement from that news site that slipped about Frank West two days ago. Foool's list isn't some made up bs like Tannenbaum's list (Bastion and Havok, nigga please), it expands Lupinko's list.
Remember, the roster was finalized in like August and the game has already been submitted to ESRB, and is finished. There are no more "shockers" left regarding the roster, all the rumored characters have been up in the air for months now.

Ok, I've heard this mentioned a few times in this post, and correct me if I'm wrong, but people are saying that Frank West is the pilot in episode 2? A few people said he is on the plane, but there is no plane, it's a helicopter! And I've watched the video about ten times a paused it perfectly, and it is not Frank West. Nor does it look ANYTHING like him. Some one mentioned that the pilot was wearing FW's clothes form TvC but the pilot is wearing a standard jumpsuit worn in the air force. Frank West wears a long coat with a white shirt in TvC. I'm not sure how people are mistaking this.... I'm assuming maybe they're watching it in SD instead of HD and maybe it was too pixelated to tell. Anyway, go to the official MvC3 site, watch it in HD, and tell me that it still looks like Frank West.
