Quick tip: Automatic training mode cornering in Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Because I know there's going to be some commenters who can't resist saying "Big whoop!" I'm doing it for you. I know this isn't mind blowing, it's just something to save people a little time who spend a lot of time doing stuff in training mode.

whoa, I just happened to find out about the start and back thing. I didnt know about the cornering or assist thing. Pretty neat. It also revives dead opponets/teamates.

Before reading the headline, thought this was just a troll post.

i guess this maybe a little off topic, but can anyone tell me how to record moves for the training dummy to perform like in SSF4

@ #4:

1.) Training Mode.
2.) *Start* Controller Settings.
3.) Choose any button(s) and map it as either record/playback/repeat.
4.) Train.

They hid it because I've never seen this style before, but oh well. Enjoy these newly discovered feature.

@ #9 stop assuming everyone bought that guide. I figure this out a week or so ago that doesn't mean everyone else will.

game guide was cool guys but filled with frame data only there somewhat secret bios and all the achievments then title and icons which is great but i wish they would have put more into the ranking system but they do offer brief vs history and dlc character struff but overall could have been more but still happy to have it

Who needs spec mode when you have this.

i found out about the back/start reset on accident. was bitching for the first 10 hours of mvc3 about how GG and Blazblue always have this included in training mode. Paint me surprised.

good tip catalyst, the mvc manual is so lame that this did deserve front page post imo. BUT you have missed out that it also works in mission mode, which is a real boost for the combos that require x-factor activation. So now you don't have to wait for it to run out or have the hassle of restarting via the menu then moving into the corner or whatever.
