Street Fighter 4 series producer, Yoshinori Ono, made a number of tweets on his Twitter page. In typical Ono fashion, they're vague and can be read a few different ways, but they're interesting regardless. Here's a rundown.
Can we expect SSFIV Arcade Edition for PC? — Sprint84
Ono: I can't say it yet. But, please wait news for PC after 3DS!! ;)
Ono-san, will we have news of PC SSFIV after American 3DS release? — ArtSaSF
Ono: Yeah... Could be wait it news after 3DS in US. ;P [Editor's note, the U.S. release date of the 3DS is March 27, 2011.]
When will we have more information about SFxT?
Ono: We are preparing to make announce for Street Fighter X Tekken!
When is the announcement for "that"? March or April? — Daeyrat
Ono: Is it about Street Fighter X Tekken's news? It's after 3DS in U.S. ;D
Capcom's annual Captivate event is scheduled each year in April, which isn't too far after the U.S. release date of the Nintendo 3DS, so this may be what he's referring to.
Ono has a bit of a reputation for trolling, but he's also dropped hints in the past at what he was working on — things that were later announced — so take these messages how you may.
Yoshinori also posted a couple notable images.

If Ono loves Blanka so much, why doesn't he make him top tier like he deserves to be? ROoAAARR!
ElectricBlanka
because Ono is just the producer the Battle Director is the one who controls tweaks and balances NOT ONO!
@PC annoucement:
"We're given you Super Street fighter 4.......just the normal version that came out on consoles 35 characters that's it....no seriously gtfo we don't want ya'll here"
you're going to be saying "that tekken girl" alot RawVoltage because there atleast 10 females in the first 3 numbered games alone... so alot of females are going to be lining this cast not just the obligtory girl so we can have a girl type thing but not doll syndome either(all of them having similar movesets)
looks like some hinted CGI. woot~
Cant wait to see that lol
I doubt they would skip super and just release AE on the PC, they wouldnt want to piss off their console fans TOO much (they did already piss them off with saying "no ae in consoles" (which is still bullpoo, we all know it).
Now i wouldnt mind a pc version (have a ps3 ssf4), because it is much easier to be on steam chat and in game, for arranging matches and battling with friends!
By now PC gamers lost all interest, go away Capcom.
@2 Although he is the producer of SFIV he is not responsible for the balancing entirly. That is done by their Fight Team who calls all the balancing shots and makes character roster decsions.
Ono does'nt go around and just say, "nerf him" "buff her!" Everything is a team effort and a team decision. His individual influences is usually one of many.
If Blanka is nerfed it was decided by his team. Im pretty sure Ono wanted Blanka strong too as much as he touts him around like he do.
Trollin' up a storm, as usual.
I don't really care about SFxT. I don't think I'll be getting it. I really only come to the site hoping to see MVC3 DLC news.
I think it's too little too late on the PC front for SSFIV. Pirates can now create some kind of moral justification for stealing it now because "Capcom doesn't care about them" and they're "an afterthought." Little pissant brats. Mad props to anyone that buys it, though.
if super drops for pc... ima be buying it at launch price, especially if its super arcade, or super with arcade dlc in the future
If they release a PC version with the AE changes, I'll probably get it. SF4 just looks so much better on the PC, and you can use PS3 controllers and sticks on PC so it's not like you're stuck with keyboard (which isn't that bad for some characters anyway). I assume Capcom will move to Steamworks, seeing as GWFL is a steaming pile.
If it's the standard SSF4, the hell with Capcom. Nearly a year wait for no good reason? Oh right, Capcom whines that PC gamers won't pay for costume packs. Get over it Capcom.
I already own SSF4 on the 360, and I'd gladly buy it on PC if it became available on the platform. I play a hell of a lot more vanilla, unfortunately, than I do Super due to the fact that my online friends have PCs primarily, but such is the way of things.
I just wish they'd give us a definitive 'Yes' or 'No' answer rather than using pirates as a scapegoat, then suddenly alluding to a PC release in the most vague way imaginable.
I'd prefer a PC release to eventually get AE, and I'd unrealistically hope for cross-platform online, but at the end of the day I'm just tired of waiting for the verdict.
@2, yor obvoisly a blanka fanboy. he's already annoying as he is and making him top tier wud be making him even more annoying.
All I can say is wow. Street Fighter x Tekken!!!!!
*sigh* I wish I could take him seriously, but they've been jerking us around for so long that even if he's right, it'll probably be the 'standard' SSF4 edition with no possibility of patches later.
Wait, that means charge characters could actually be worth a damn...
Ah Nina, the only reason I even give this game a second glance. Personally I wish he would have changed the art style for this installment; however, I give him props for properly depicting my lovely Williams in this cross over. I was certain she was going to be ugly and out of proportion like the rest of the cast.
HEY CATALYST,
VesperArcade has a new SSF4 tutorial out. Just a heads up.
I'm prepared to wait a while. Of course, still hype for PC, and will buy whatever it is on day 1...why?

Any news is good news for PC at this point!
@37 and 39
A 360 Fightstick is perfectly compatible with PC fighting games via USB. In fact with Vanilla SF4, it works out of the box with no added configuration (what with it being a Games for Windows title and all). I'm not sure about the PS3 Fightstick as I don't personally own one, but I'm sure some people are using theirs on PC as well.
Anyway, PC is a fine development platform for any title. Simply put, it's flexible and expandable. No reason to ostricize a gamerbase who is more than willing to expand the community.
Besides, Capcom is a supposed member of the PC Gaming Alliance. It'd be great if they played the part to represent it with their blockbuster titles.
I long ago said they were skipping Super on PC to then focus on AE because, as we've seen on sites like this, PC players are a fickle bunch. Give them three copies of the game in three years and expect them to get quite antsy.
Yes, I know PC invented patches and expansions, but modern times have proven to Corporations like Capcom that, even though fans would love it, constant updates don't make money like making people salivate for new content.
Capcom, how dare you hint about spending YOUR resources on a version of a game that has nothing to do with ME. Everyone knows nobody PCs can't run games, that's why consoles exist, I mean duh! Everyone knows that!
PC FTL, how do you even do special moves on keyboards anyway? You PC trolls should stop posting really and go play your pirated clicky strategery games. Heh.
That's it, I'm BOYCOTTING all Capcom games, for real this time. Because I'm outraged.
I'm surprised this news feed got replies given that nothing worthwhile is shown until Captivate. Knowing Capcom we'll probably get an Alpha 3 HD Remix or Darkstalkers 3 HD Remix announcement 2 years prior to release lol.
You want to use any of your controllers, TE sticks(360 or PS3), fightpads, MvC3 PDP pads..etc with SF4? PC, why? Because it works, and in beautiful 1080P only on PC why?

I have never been happier in my life, finally SSFIV:AE comes to PC. No DLC too. It's great news.
@51
Well, I guess you're right, but I thought it was quite obvious judging by the change in Ono's tone. He typically reveals information this way, you can tell by his response.
It's nice that Capcom's spreading the love to the PC crowd. They just need to make sure its properly protected. Also, games are done on...PCs. Yeah, those beloved games y'all play on your consoles, are done on PCs. Besides, the PC group REALLY need to update to SSF4 (this is coming from a console owner who doesn't play much games on PCs). Though their "creative" costumes can be a hit or miss (imo, about 60% of'em ain't all that) its nice they might finally get SSF4.
