Lastly, Schillbs pointed out a clip he did going through Iron man relaunch combos, and how they stack up.
Not to knock the Thor video but that was pretty much first day stuff......
OH MY GOD!!! That Dante combo at the end of the first video is too sick. Seriously man... I wish I could pull that off with my Dante, but alas, I barely even know all of his special moves yet!
Leave it to the Japanese to find out crazy sh!t like this.
@gam3rfr33k:
Me too. I tried doing the second one he showed (air S > H spam) and it was hard. So much mashing that it hurt my fingers, and I use a stick. :(
I also tried following up after his hyper like they show in the video, but they recover before I can do anything. Anyone got any clue on how the hell he managed to pull that off?
@10: You're an idiot. Also go to the doctor and get yourself checked for yellow fever...
Anyway, the "Japanese" combo video was actually a video stolen from YouTube added to NicoNico, and then added BACK to YouTube, hence the shi*ty quality.
And hence why people will continue to call this place EventScrubs (:-()
@11, may I ask please why you would think I would have Yellow fever? How does my opinion make me an idiot? I can conclude from my observations that the japanese are playing at a much higher level than I have seen any other region playing at. I'm not a Japanese wannabe anime obsessed, ramen eating, tranny/child porn fapping freak either, as you may expect. It is just an observation, chill the hell out.
@13 Let me ask you this. Even if the video was made of the Japanese, since when does knowing how to do a combo make you a good player? You can know how to do all the combos in the world but still fail at it simply because you can't apply it properly. I have already seen the Japanese play and yes they are far behind US. Just because they are Asian doesn't automatically make them gods of the game and to add to this you say it is your opinion but you state it as if your so-called opinion is a fact saying things like "The only reason they did on MVC2 is because none of the Japanese played". Keep your ignorance to yourself please.
Well the jap's where the first to find out about Magneto in MvC2
Does that even matter now?? Eventually someone was gonna find out whether it be them or us or anyone for that matter. Still doesn't mean anything if they didn't do anything with it.
@PSNmignon15
You can't follow up after the hyper normally. What actually happened was that Arthur's super armor ran out of time, which puts him into a knocked down state. This allows the combo to continue.
To defend threedawg a slight bit um... The asian culture all around the world are more into games then americans. Most of the best here in america are asians becuz that's what they do. I'm half Vietnamese and that side of the family are very quiet, lack physical size and abilities, therefore they just stay inside playing starcraft, tekken, sf, and such all day. While I'm at the gym or at a club, their having a SF tournament party at the house. Lol. What do you think Justin wong is doing while I'm at work, gym, with my girl, playing ball, and what not? He in the lab studying a game like mvc3. Not saying he or asian countries dont have lives. But a BIG daily portion is dedicated to gaming. So I wouldnt say Japanese but I'll definitely say Asians will continue to dominate games like mvc3 or SF.
Most thing weird is about partner tag call: In USA while in JP Voice called them Hsien-Ko & Akuma + In JPN while in EN Voice called them Lei-Lei & Gouki. Yep, there's definetly doesn't seem right, liked Tekken 6's Lars in JP Voice only in Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 + unliked in Soul Calibur series (Legends, II, IV & BD) allowed the guest characters from other media uses JP Voice, without the reason.... (& probably forget about the char images stuff & there's nothings gonna happened to them (Soul series)).
Well, maybe MvC3 will actually have a Japanese tourney scene this time around if that first video is any indication. More competition is always a good thing!
