Updated: According to the person who runs the official GodsGarden Facebook page, the announced time for this event is only an estimate and the actual start time is yet to be announced, so keep that in mind when reading the information below.• Super Street Fighter IV
• Marvel vs. Capcom 3
• Tekken 6
Considering the Godsgarden team is behind this, users should expect one heck of a stream. More information will be posted in the future.
When did they hold GodsGarden 3? GodsGarden 2.5 (with Mago beating everyone =D) was only 3-4 months ago, and I don't seem to recall a #3 happening in between. Am I mistaken? :(
Also, I'm very, very hyped to see that. I'm interested in seeing all of their new mains (Uryo's Sakura, Nemo's Yang, Uryo's Sakura, Momochi's Makoto, and I think some other players have changed mains too).
Makes me happy that the end of Gamer's Vision wasn't the end of GodsGarden though!
@PSNmignon15
GodsGarden 3 was the tekken 6 one i believe on Feb 6.
@kuritorisu:
Huh? How come no Super? I already know that in GG1 they played the console version, so lack of arcade cabinets couldn't have been the issue...
@PSNmignon15
GodsGarden 3 was a collaboration between them and the guys at Master Cup to find the best Japanese Tekken player. so it was only tekken. Master Cup is known for team tekken tournaments i believe.
@PSNmignon15
Mago didn't win Godsgarden 2.5, Nemo did. (Mago didn't get out of pools IIRC)
You're thinking of Godsgarden Online 2.0 which happened a few months after GG 2.5.
Anyway, I'm interested in seeing which of top Japanese players pick up Marvel, and if they can compete with the US this time.
wow MvC3 and Japan will be a fun mix lol. also Tokido owes us a money match with a mr "Salt." please dont let it turn out to be Sanford Kelley
@Donchilio:
Really? I never knew Nemo won a tourney. That's awesome though! I'm gonna have to dig for those videos then.
I hope Sako picks up the game. His execution is so on-point, and I have a feeling he'd be kinda flashy with certain characters (like Dante).
But yeah, would be interesting to see what they have to offer. I think Tokido said he might play it, but that MvC isn't that popular in Japan.
awesome... i am hype to see Japanese players play MvC3.
