He had this to say about it:
This was something I accidentally discovered while playing around with the turbo functions of my fight stick on Marvel vs Capcom 3. Apparently if you set two buttons to turbo and simply hold them down, a semi-plinking effect occurs where the character will try attack then immediately cancel into dashing. This somehow works out to cancel faster than traditional Dash-Duck-Dash wave-dashing. I put up a video to show what it looks like, but mostly it's just funny to watch =)
I've seen that dash in a match, and it wasn't turbo. Heck, it reminds me of Andre's Wesker, there's an earlier video where his Wesker was tripping ^_^
lol poor Amaterasu looks like she's hopping on a broken foot. And Captain America turned into The Flash!
I love that boxer remix song! Wish i could play music from the ps3 on mvc3! Although the music is decent on this one at least!
...something is wrong with people if they didn't know how to dash.
Great can't wait to see every scrub online trying to use this.
my friend already discovered this, but we decided not to share it because people will exploit it. Somethings you should just keep to yourself...
Lol @ Wesker and Deadpool giving BJ's at lightspeed
What a stupid c**** the poster of this video is.
Well, it looks like this game is going to the dogs, and it's only been out a week.
I have to add, why did Madcatz ever add a turbo function on their line of sticks?
See what you've done Madcatz, you've got idiots using turbo all over the place.
The challenge is to use it consistenly in matches and without the turbo function. This reminds me SSBM, of course a very different game, but in this case it could be used with the same intention, fast ground movement, specially for the all so mighty SENTINEL (he never stops impressing me)
Akuma keeps one foot tied behind his ass the same way Oro keeps his hand tied behind his back.
Only difference is so Akuma doesn't blow up the Earth.
The MODOK one is clearly the most hilarious one especially when you actually did the slow come up then started the dashing again LOL!!
This is Dash canceling. This is the same technique used in Megaman X4 and later games. You can do it with Zero with ease. Just do his first light slash then press the dash button. This isn't really new at all. Then again, Megaman games did attribute to a lot of VS Series stuff like wave dashing, Wall Jump, Double jump, air dash, etc.
lol... I wished I could do this dash in practice.
