He lost the first game to other players early in the tournament and he still keep playing rose. he only used cammy against tokido.

Dude, get real. Do you actually play that matchup? A decent to good Akuma won't teleport like crazy. And there's always cowardcopter in Super. And nope, you won't punish TOKIDO's DF with a 11f startup Ultra.
On the other hand, while Rose has Ultra 2, she is at total advantage, since Akuma cannot vortex her and cannot even safe pressure - and Akuma is already at disadvantage when it comes to ground game and fireballs. Not to mention, you can use it on offense too with its nice chip damage, Sako won a round going for U2, fireball xx Super for MASSIVE damage.
If you saw the whole stream, you would've seen that Tokido always won when Sako switched to U1.
I didn't look the single but I think Sako switched to U1 with Rose against Tokido because in team tournament tokido nullified orbs so many times like it was an useless ultra, amazing :o. He got caught only a few times, the other times his safe jumps and baits were perfects
Skatan and Yagami placed third i teams, interesting. Don't think I've ever seen swedes doing good in a Japanese tournament before

Why would he care if Tokido needs it more. They aren't friends even if they were you still wouldn't do that. Also why do you think Mago let Daigo win? Daigo had been saving that Guile the whole tournament to counter Mago in the finals.
^ Mago would never just let Daigo win. In his blog all he talks about is wanting to beat Daigo.
Of course Mago says those things on his blog. He can't admit that to the world. If he admits he let Daigo win, he'd lose every credibility he has.
The finals of this tourney felt exactly the same as the Canada Cup. There was no hype. Sako could have easily beat Tokido with Cammy. But he strangely chose Rose with Ultra 1 instead.
Just like when Mago chose Boxer against Guile, it just felt like he wasn't trying.
To be fair, that's just my opinion. But it's obvious I'm not the only one who thinks that.
The only one who truly knows is the players, but even if they did throw the match, they will never say it in public.
He chose Boxer because his Fei Long got destroyed by Daigo. What would Mago have to gain by throwing the match exactly? He thought he had the tournament because his Fei Long was beating Daigo's Ryu but Daigo had that Guile up his sleeve the whole time. Believe me Mago is the last person that would want Daigo to win against him. I would say he wants Daigo to lose even more than Jwong.
Why are people so prone to false conjectures on this site. It's like bunch of kids arguing for no reason about he or she would have won with this or that. He/she must have let the other person win. Please, control your emotions and be more objective. Some posters are acting like they are the one playing. I guess that is what they call trolling. Those must be trolling postings.
^ lol. I wasn't overcome by emotion when I made the "accusation" of Sako and Mago trolling. The better question is why are you so high and mighty about yourself that you'll discredit anything that you don't believe in?
It's not like I was the only one thinking that they didn't try. Every person has the ability to feel a sense that something is fair or unfair, or in this case someone is or isn't sandbagging. And if a lot of people thought the same thing, then there must be some truth to it. Or it means that Sako and Mago gave reason for people to think that way.

I was just browsing through the postings and all I would see is people going back and forth and accusing top players to drop intentionally and what not. I am not mighty but lately the bickering is at an all time high. Again, I did not pay attention to whom was writing what but just focused on the contents. Each is entitled to his/her opinion. it has happened but mostly between friends or fellow sponsor players, bribes etc. case in point FChamp also some smash players did this a while back that they got banned by MLG.
Only scumbags like Fchamp throws matches on purpose. No one else does this. So the idea that Mago or Sako would throw matches is ridiculous.
Sako didn t throw the match. I was there and in this tournament it was character fix and you can counter pick only when you lost. He was in looser bracket he lost one set and then he can take cammy. Then he win and it reset the set to winner brackets so he have to return to Rose then he lost and then he was able to take again cammy.
In this tourney Rose and Fei long was important characters because French players not very well both characters and Sako is the only Rose in Japan. So he had to fought people who know Rose so it was a great challenge to him. Like for Mago, Fei long is too well known in occident and he don t know well Rose that s why he kept loosing to Luffy s Rose.
He don t know enough the Match up like Tokido an Daigo too.
When they first come to France and fought Luffy every one lost. Only Daigo was able to adapt fast enought to win back again, this is where Daigo show that he is a monster.
Mago wasn t in a good shape too but next time he will came back and win, that s what he said.
I think know there is a good hype because Those three top japan players find a lots of good challenge and were having really hard time especially against Luffy, Alioune, V Ryu.
Sako and Alioune even had hard time against the 12 years old French player Kusanagi.
Fei Long is too good.
