He actually is very easy to beat. Just don't do Special Moves, Hypers or any moves with long animations, just hit him with normals so when he attacks you'll recover in time to block. High jump when he is about to throw and last when he is about to kill the Earth, throw everything you got to stop him and thats it very easy.
They forgot to mention at 1:36 that if you get caught by that grab that you can mash buttons to get out. It actually works really well and can save you from getting damaged if you do get caught by it.

Beating Galactus on Very Hard is easy.
Just set damage to Highest and use your first two guys against Galactus as long as you can while making sure you have 3 or 4 Hyper moves ready. When they die, have the last character use X Factor and use all your Hyper moves.
Done.
lol i played this game today for the 1st time and easily killed galactus twice without any 2nd attempts. he's not as tough as he looks. 1st i killed him with deadpool/wolverine/dante, and then with super skrull/wesker/akuma.

galactus is really easy, i have a much harder time against seth. lots of hes atacks wont hit you if you are directly in front of him and the rest can be blocked, the only ones you should care about is hes grab that can be super jumped, and the big ass lasers, and at the end of the batlle just unleash x-factor and he is done for
Galactus is the easiest VS series boss I've ever played. Maybe even the easiest fighting game boss I've ever played. The hardest part of Galactus is fighting Doom and Wesker at the same time and even that is simple. I beat him on my first try on normal and then I bumped it up to Hard and still creamed him. Gonna try very hard tonight.
Trick is to just block, attack, block, attack and watch out for chip damage. :/
