Here's a blurb from the duo about the video.
Over the course of the last few episodes, Gootecks and Mike Ross hit rock bottom amid the salty ocean of XBox Live. Could this possibly be the last episode of Excellent Adventures... EVER?? (before the AE DLC???) If so, our heroes try to go out on a high note... with a BET!
Tip from Shichi and Engrishlifes.
Brilliantly portrays the frustration of playing this game online...
Wow. That must be how shoto players determine whats overpowered or not.
"If it knocks me out of the air consistantly, theres nothing i can do to win and it's overpowered"
Who taught them to play this way???
Man could he mash any harder man you could see it lag a bit when he was trying to DP those jump in's smh @ Online Ryu.
I'm sorry, #15, but just 'cause you can land cr.LK, cr.LP, cr.HP xx Tatsu, that doesn't make you a good player. The guy had no ground game, he kept on jumping, mashing and FA'ing, he punished with st.HP xx SRK.
Sure there's worst players out there, but that alone doesn't make him even close to "decent".
I think this is a great episode to end on.

I really like this series but the thing that bugs the hell outta me is that they probably dubbed themselves "our heroes"... typically american, i'm just waiting for "kingsize excellent adventures with extra oily superlarge fries"
well its ironic how you guys bash that Ryu player even though he did what Mike always says, "It's not a bad or wrong move if it worked".
I thought the Ryu was a trampoline player but you guys are straight hating on the guy despite him having holes in his game. Garbage player = clearly isn't adapting to the match to clean up and apply his game plan to his opponent. That Ryu was above average, real scrubs DO NOT 1-frame link anything.
@Longsky
If you don't see why he is a scrub, now I understand why eventhubs is called eventscrubs. And what combos?
lol, i luv when there chillin on the couch waitin for dood to join sesh: "so,..... excited for the marvel party....?....."
Even though this ryu's mistake was he moved like a rabbit, he, at least the very least, knows how to do a simple cr lk, cr lp, cr hp, tatsu. I've played this ryu on PSN (hint: PSN) with similar amount of PP and BP and KNOWS NO combos. Long story short, he played REALLY lame. He ran, threw fireballs, tatus out of the corner. A repeating cycle for THREE matches. I beat his ass with Cody and Dudley and kicked him. Then he got mad and started to talk trash LOL. Can anyone spell S-O-R-E L-O-S-E-R?
You can tell the dr green was playing on a pad, thus the st. HP, DP (assuming he did the actual DP motion and not the stick shortcut). It's much easier to pull off on a pad than a stick. I'm sure green was just messing around as well in Endless battle. Ross had a good come back though, fun to watch.
Jumping all over the place like a freakin rabbit? check. Focus attack spamming? check. Mashing dp like there's no tomorrow? check. Sweep spamming? check. Random ultra? check. Yep, that's pretty much the perfect definition of a classic xbl flowchart Ryu.
Ugh, it always boils down to scrub-calling.
Annoying, but not unexpected..
Internet toughies' common reasons for calling someone scrub:
-losing a match: Scrub!
-winning a match but not imitating the world's best with that character: Scrub!
-winning from someone they know: Scrub!
-and most common: the toughie does not know or like someone: Scrub!
Compare with actual definition of scrub, http://www.urbandictionary.com/define...
Since no one on here what dgreen thinks of himself, no one can claim he is a scrub.
Don't let that stop you, though. (I know you won't).
Well... I think this showed at the very least how unpredictable anti-air execution can be over live sometimes. Lag can almost make anti-airs very much impossible to do on reaction.
This is of course another reason we see so many Ryus and company online. People unwittingly (and knowingly) rock this jump in and sweep, "lag tactic" all the time.
Of course this DOES NOT work very well in offline play (irritating that its so effective online). Until we get a lag free virtual enviroment its safe to say that we'll continue to see a LOT of players who continue to do this type of Ken/Ryu "me so bouncy" online playstyle.
Its actually surprising that they haven't run into more players just like this one while making their show really. Haha because they seem to be everywhere online.
Fun to watch as always.
