Damn. I think I'm hopping on the CapWagon... Ok that sounded less fruity before I typed it
it seems hyper charging star will counter all other projectiles (even hypers) once it connects with the opponent
@MooNs
Is that from a disappointed Cap fan or Cap hater? Because it makes a difference.
They have the same properties in MVC 2! What a waste of video.
@juanrock
I feel your pain. Friday afternoon, I ripped the fingernail on my left index finger right down the middle to the point where it bled all day and is now sore still. Saturday night I slammed my RIGHT index finger in my car door to the point where the bottom half of my nail is filled with blood and throbbing constantly, I CAN'T EVEN GET MY PIANO ON!!!!
Cap is in my team, and he kicks ass. The shield can create resets in combos when not guarded properly, and by pure luck can pull em toward you as well.
So far I've always used Capt. and am going to have him with Zero as team shield & sword still trying to get the third member. @16 & 18 that sucks guys hopefully you can make an attempt to play on tuesday when you get your copies (unless you have them already)
Well, the major differences between MvC2 and MvC3 in regards to Cap, besides the shield throwing awesomeness is that there is NEVER a time Cap doesn't have his shield on him, where in older games you could in fact be without your shield. that, and Final Justice is a lot better to use in the fact that it's now a Charging Star startup. A big improvement. And hell, maybe you can pull off some sick resets with his cartwheel, won't know till I get the game in my mitts. Happy gaming, people, Rei out.
@9
He needs to rename that article "Memoir's of a scrub."
I could argue against every point that guy tried to make.
#21
You could go with Taskmaster, Arthur, or Dante. They all use a sword and some kind of defense(Taskmaster's shield, Arthur's armor, which you can activate and then tag out and he keeps it and his beefed projectiles as an assist, and Dante has something like his Royal Guard parries, doesn't he? Plus he is just a useful character in every way).

That article is so dumb that I don't even know where to begin. It's obvious it was written by a guy who does not understand fighting games at all.
Anyone else notice the old hyper activation sound effect? I guess that would be the "Dynamic Sound Effects" setting.
Cap is the super soldier, of course he's tugging awesome, fugg your mag, fugg Your storm and fugg your mango sent. I almost forgot fugg your feelings .
#9's article I play ssf4, and mvc and blaz and battle fantasia and sometimes I throw down quarters for svc chaos and I am willing to play any otheer major fighter, I have a main on all of them. To that writer Fugg your thoughs nigga
Nice to see Cap get a buff this time around. Might use him now.
@Longsky
O, Don't you worry, I'll be getting MVC3 at midnight and will be online after a few hours of practice and about 6-7 playthroughs, I'M STILL READY!!!! HOP ON THE CAPWAGON!!!!
BTW, I know a bunch of you guys here are/will be high levelplayers, mind kicking out some gamertags so I won't be as behind the curve here as I fell in MVC2? I can only get good by playing people who are better than me, it gets easy to rape AI even when I actually sucked in high level at MVC2, out of the million MSS/MSP teams I played, I probably won about 13 times with my Ken/Hulk/Cyke team
Captain America the best anti-projectile character? I love how he can go through all the Magneto Storm Sentinel crap. Might use every once in a while.
