Well, that was ten minutes I wish had some variety in them.
This is one of the reasons why I feel Hiropon > Poongko .. no offense to Poongko, their both my favorites Seth players.
The sound of countless crying Seths brings a tear to my eye...
It's not that Poongko's execution was bad that game, but Akuma is better in Seth's strong points. Akuma hits harder and has plenty of ways to get in and escape. It's very scary to rush down against a good player with Seth because a poke later your down 10% of your health. Infiltration played this match-up JUST right. With Akuma's high stun capabilities and his damaging combos, Seth has to lay off after getting hit by a combo or else we risk getting stunned in the next batch of combos.
@ Paine:
I hope you're not serious with what you wrote, because if that's the case, then this matchup would be 10-0 - and of course it's not.
Poongko played like crap, plain and simple, and if there's one character which doesn't forgive sloppy plays that's Seth.
Also, this is SSF4, not Vanilla. Akuma's stun is gone, that was just Seth's 750 stun rating.
Anyway, this matchup is gonna get better for Seth in AE, 800 health, 900 stun is a cool upgrade for the guy.
The fastest first to ten match ever broadcast. Good job Poongko.
And here I was hoping for some interesting games after reading the title:/
the first time I've seen Poongko miss his combos this bad, wish him luck for the next time they fight -_-.
Honestly after watching these vids I have to say...Is this the same Poongko that we saw running through countless victims...well those were online matchups so I can't really say much about those although their net is basically the same as being there. He played garbage. I could have understood of he would have lost 10-0 but fought back to the very end consistently but he did not.
I'm just gonna say it and let the sh*tstorm begin; Poongko isn't a very good player. People think he is, because he has good execution, and he's playing bad players in just about every vid there is of him. This is how he fares when he's up against someone who knows how to play
He missed some basic combo's and played quite wildly for Seth. I like OnlineTony's Seth.
I'm surprised that Poongko kept trying to go for the auto-correct shoryu after that failed about 10 times for him. You can't be clever if you think of the clever thing, but don't get the right result.
Awesome dominating performance by Infiltration. But to be honest the Akuma vs Seth matchup in Vanilla is quite one side. Akuma deals a ton of stun in Vanilla, while Seth stuns very easily. I would say it's a 7-3 matchup in Akuma's favor. Still Infiltration severely outplayed Poonko
lol poongko loses and now he is garbage..?
He wasnt strong in this fight, but i think that overall akuma has the advantage peeps. Drop 1 combo and 1/4 of his life was gone. 4 combos and its over. xD
Man... this is a joke. That was a complete destruction of Poongko. His Seth looks good when he's dominating or playing average players, but once he goes offline and fights Infiltration, forget it. I've never seen so many attempts of an auto correct DP offline... o.o
Boss characters shouldn't be playable...especially Akuma and Seth

You guys should embed that video since Raknos uploaded it first.
When a FT10 is 12 minutes long you know there's going to be a ton of RAPE!
@42
I don't get how Infiltration knowing the matchup somehow excuses Poongko for being ass. That's like saying he's only good when playing against the typical PSN or XBL'er who doesn't know the matchup. You can't be 'the best' if you can't even play with the best.
Naw Poongko just cant beat infiltration he did place third in evo's. Infiltration just had a answer for everything wit some great anti air and good blocks.
Poongko good but like i said he not the best tournament player cause he not good at adapting all he knows is how to rush
but they played in vanilla poongko had ryu it was pretty much the same results
HEY correct me if Im wrong, but this FT10 is old, I mean, Poongko is much better than that, obvious, that akuma is no kidding, but I kind remember watching this very clip months ago, wheen poongko started playing seth. One thing I saw, Poongko did Shoryuken FADC normal grab, he dont do that anymore, its FADC 360 motion, just saying.
Don't get me wrong, Poongko is a solid player, that matter is true. Problem is, he just got outmatched very badly. Plus, I've never seen him participate outside Korea for tournament play. We've seen him on nStar with the other Korean players, but that's about it. His only trip was to the Vanilla Nationals in the US; that's it, where has Infiltration has been over seas along with Laugh and have played a variety of players. If he went to EVO this year, I don't think Poongko would place top 32 even.
I main Juri, but this has inspired me to work on my Akuma as well. Just gotta get my PS3 fixed first....STUPID RED LIGHT OF DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's the worst first to ten beat down I've ever seen.... wow!!
Poongko got totally annihilated...
Infiltration looks better than Tokido Imo, even though I like Tokido alot.
I wouldn't say his execution was terrible, he just didn't look like he knew what to do. It looked like it was the first time he ever played against Akuma or anything. You can't just derp derp rush in whenever you feel like it or push buttons. How many times did Poongko eat Akuma's roundhouse? That sh*t was ridiculous.
Poongko needs to get out more often and stop playing online.
Looks like Poongko "Puts on shades" just got infiltrated.
It should be Djdelvalle (Seth) vs Infiltration (Akuma), and Infiltrations Akuma would get some lesson.
Ive seen some vids of Poongko Seth before here in eh, and i wrote there my comment, his Seth is not strong enough.
I love infiltration's akuma, but you guys fail to realize this video came after the one down below...poongko took first place in this tournment if i'm not mistaking & LITERALLY ABUSED inf WITH NO problem...so a first to 10 matches after the video you're about to see means absolutely nothing! LoL
poongko has to hit him a million times to damage akuma.. not really a fair match
@46
me and you are ass. the typical XBL/PSN gamer is ass...almost 75% of SSF4 players are ass. Poongko is not ass. if you played Infiltration with Seth, you would get double perfected everytime. one major loss doesnt mean hes ass. hes not the best Seth, but dont go around like your the best player calling someone who would demolish the living poop out of you, ass
@63
Akumas damage output and stun are quite higher then Seths, but to say he has to hit him a million times? Akumas not Gief i hope you know. hes got crap health and Stamina too. Ive seen Seth players dizzy Rufus' and Hawks a bunch of times. what do you think he would do to Akuma? trust me theres two possible solutions to this outcome.
1) Poongko was not playing well due to numerous reasons (under the weather, nervous, etc...)
2) Infiltration is just better.
does it mean its impossible for Seth to beat Akuma? no...plain and simple.
Playing online does not determine how good you are...
Aren't Alione Sensei and the best Cammy player in Japan xbox live enthusiasts? If someone is messing up, obviously pointing at online is not enough. If the knowledge and execution is proper, you'll win regardless of where you are.
That being said, it is a horrible match-up. Akuma can runaway better than Seth can and he can stun many characters quickly....let alone Seth's child-like stamina.
But it's evident in some of Poongko's decision making that he wasn't taking the match seriously. If he was...why would he do a head tap once Akuma was stunned? Wouldn't a focus attack > combo for more damage be better?
Poongko was trying to be pretty and he got peaced out, hard. What he needs is to be able to switch gears, he shouldn't take anyone lightly. He also kept walking up to Akuma and got RH numerous times. Akuma's massive damage and stun is nothing to toy with, any good Seth needs to be aware of this. The teleports were useless because Akuma just air fireballed and trapped PKO if he did it in corner.
He needs stronger core play and less fancy stuff, if he wants to get serious. He isn't a bad player, but his state of mind was bad for this match. He has the capability, that's the difference.
Akuma = massive damage, massive stun, low health, good escapes, awesome vortex.
Seth = child's play damage, low stun/health, decent runaway/zoning tactics.
One mix-up from Akuma was easily taking 30 to 45%, with numbers like that, there are no room for mistakes.
Poongko is without a doubt the best Seth in the world. The fact that ya'll can deny that is beyond me. Some of you say, "this is how Poongko fairs against high level players." Are you kidding me? Poongko beat Infiltration in the last Korean tourney. Ya'll need to actually look into things before ya'll start passing judgement on Poongko being a bad player. He's an amazing player. I would love to see EVERYBODY ON THIS ENTIRE PAGE try to beat Poongko. And the best part of it would be watching every single one of you lose... badly.

Please watch this, Poongko haters... thanks.
Omg i always wanted to see them fight!
