A preview of the BradyGames Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Strategy Guide is up now, showing a bit of their sections on Ryu and Wolverine (both files are in .pdf format, you may wish to right-click and Save As).Ooooh, that looks really nice. Glad I pre-ordered it. I hope it comes with a poster.
LOL this site is probably getting a kick back for promoting it...these guides just aren't what they used to be. Last actually helpful one was the big CVS2 guide.
Uhh Ryu's biographical stats are questionable. I can understand fighting ability, but the rest of them are abnormally high for a "Street Fighter".
I really want to buy it, but in the age of patches and such, all this stuff is subject to change...
Wow, very nice stuff. I was gonna buy it anyways, just because of the frame data, but a lot of this information beyond the frame data is very useful, pleasant surprise.
(Street Fighters are tough even though they haven't covered wars. Besides, Ryu doesn't wear shoes. EVER.)
Wow, very informative. They didn't miss a beat with all of this info. Definitely something a serious Tourney Gamer should invest in.
Also Wolverine and Arthur seem like a dangerous couple already. Wolverines mix up game was pretty decent, but that gives him an instant high low mixup also? Sweet stuff...
Probably woth buying used or when it goes down in price
This is why I'm getting the guide as well as the game. Worth every bit of it.
IMO, I do not think I have ever seen a guide as helpful or informative as the one for SFA2. Of course this was an era before everyone was interested in frame data, so all things considering.
Yeah, they do not write them like they used to, but this one looks good nonetheless. A definite buy!
@20
Ask the people who say a character is overpowered when they have no idea how it they work.
Seriously though, the stats in this game that way are just for fun. No way ryu is faster than wolverine and having better stamina is a joke
People really need to stop getting hung up over the Power Grid section. The fine print states the stats have nothing to do with how the characters perform in the game.
@26, it looks like you've been looking for an excuse not to buy the guide since you never intended on getting it in the first place. Are you not going to buy MvC3 because you disagree with the cover art?
Ryu/Wolverine are FIRST?
Who's last? Another Lame Darstalker and a 12 year-old almost Broken robot?
