Reasoning behind Marvel vs. Capcom 3's alternate color schemes

If you'd like to know why certain color schemes were picked for Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Hulk, Shuma-Gorath, Super-Skrull, Taskmaster, Thor, X-23 and Sentinel, Marvel.com has an article right up your alley.

This is the final article in a three part series, which has covered Marvel's roster in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

I saw some rumors online before we announced the Sentinel that he’d be in the game and look like a more traditional Sentinel from the comics. The “in the game” part was right, the “traditional” part wasn’t. As the MvC pros out there know, he’s got quite the legacy looking like this in Marvel fighting games. With that in mind, changing it would be borderline blasphemy.

I like the 4th Shuma color.

Also "LOL!" to the fact how they mention not really wanting Shuma in the game

Long story short, blame the New York City Arcade scene.

I still wish they'd given Hulk his Mr. Fixit outfit instead of his MvC2 Alternate. I've never even used it, or seen anyone else use it (usually when it's Hulk vs. Hulk, it's Green vs. Gray)
