If you like a lot of Run Stop Fierces and tons of air throws, Sinix777 did a solid El Fuerte SSF4 highlights package. If you stay tuned to the end, you'll see what he calls the world's highest and lowest air throw.

People saying El Fuerte is just a guessing game have never tried to play him. He's the hardest character for me to use.

I have tons of respect for people who can win with him consistently.

Fuerte is like a old paraplegic grand-mother with alzheimer...and a machine gun...

Sometimes he can't do s**t and get bodied, sometimes the fight is over and you don't have any clues about what just happened...

Something similar exist in japan, where an arcade owner likes fuerte so much that he organizes "the fuerte show" where best fuerte players gather and fight each others. And one of the side-competition is a RSF one, a R.Mk one and a R.Lk one... hit this on youtube!

Sweet, so basically El Fuerte can punish most Air Counters with his air grab. That'll be specially useful against Adon Shenanigans and Blanka's annoying rainbow ball

Nice video. Had no clue his air throw had so much potential. I mained elf when sf4 came out. I was garbage, but i learned to mixup and use pawn techniques. I knew his air throw can grab blankas ultra 1 in mid air, but hix ex vertical roll had no clue. Even shuryuken type of attacks. Maybe you need the right space and you can grab any type of attack air born, or still get hit. kool

El Fuerte is an amazing character...because of his potential (much like C. Viper). It's an extreme, but when played by a god-like player, they become unstoppable. Fuerte's tools to punish and his mix-up game on wakeup is just sick (and I've fought some annoying Fuerte's my with Gief).

Ryu is boring, or Guile, or Dhalsim (depending on who they fight). Fuerte is always explosive!
