These tiers make alot of sense, but coming from an Alex player, I feel that Alex could be a bit higher, maybe A tier. It may be biased, but I think that his Dive Bomb into Hyper Bomb combo is much too valuable, along with his aerial grapple which does tons of damage.
@10 so true. Luckily, this game was mainly used as a stepping stone for MvC3, so many elements of this game are surely going to be in MvC 3.
@6 at first I didn't agree with that after seeing phoenix's terrible stamina, but her keep away ability and assist strength will make her very formidable indeed. Combine that with dark Phoenix, and she sema like she may stand a chance.
Ohh Frankie~ I know your one of the best, it's just because your not retard easy like Zero or Tekkaman which is why people give up on you. But not me. On that note, Frank better be DLC for MvC3. I'm willing to pay on the disk dlc for him, just not gonna be all that happy about paying for a character that had to be at least 80% done.
SSF4 wishes it could have a tier list this balanced.
even after i get mvc3 im still going to play tvc like crazy. its a very good game and i dont see whats wrong in playing two fighters at once
Even after MVC3, I'll keep playing TVC for the fun of it. This is a great game that was ignore just because it was on the Wii. But all of us that were more open minded discovered a really awesome game that was very well balanced.
I hope Capcom will visit again this series in the future, maybe in a couple of years and in the next Nintendo console (and others, if they choose to).

I don't really think so, it makes alot of sense for him to be that low, most of his normals are unsafe, he can't connect his hard attack, and his best weapon is probably his shopping kart, and for the record, Megaman is probably the hardest character to use in this game.
Nyoronoru since this is your personal tier list i wont say i thing about how you rank the characters, but even so i always have seen how people always overrated zero in this game, im yet so see a true zero player marn was a solid player but he never really exposed zero true potential, anyway, as i see it, zero in defenitely a formidable force in tvc, but even so, tekkaman blade is better, even yatterman-1 is better, zero been use with the right assist unleash his true mixups game but without the right assist he have no real mixups game unless he use baroque then it a diferent story but even so, people have to be patience to understand zero weaks spot, he have alot of blind spot in his hit strings but seen his moves are so fast not much people know when to punish, i know zero i play him an believe me, people overrated him for the wrong reasons anyway i post my list too this is how i see the characters in the list, but even so any character in tvc can beat anyone, is more a matter of knowing your character an having good execution:
A:Blade, yatterman-1, zero, ken (only with tekkaman assist alone is B)
B:jun, batsu, saki (A with megaman assist or chunli assist), ippatsuman, joe the condor, volnutt, ryu, doronjo(C without the right assist), polimar, ptx
C: v.joe, roll, yatterman2, karas, alex, tekkaman, casshan, frank west, gold lightan
I don't care, either way I don't think its fair for you to be posting a list without the community's general consent. Your list doesn't even match up to what most people think over at the tier thread at SRK. I appreciate what you've done for all the guides here but lets get a solid agreement on the list first. Now the people who don't know any better will read this and think of it as the actual list.

I honestly don't understand this mentality. TvC and MvC3 are two very different games and I'm going to play both. Heck, people still play melee even though brawl is out and people still play mvc2 (and I bet they still will).
Anyways, I'd say the tier list is pretty accurate. but the judging on the B- characters is a little... questionable. The characters (At least Frank and Karas) have HUMONGOUS potential for highly damaging combos (Frank has the easiest infinite in the game, even).
That, and I'd wager that Zero is on the same level as Yatterman-1, Tekkaman, etc. because of his low health and garbage lvl 1 supers and that PTX is another matchup character (he can be easily destroyed in certain matchups).
But in all honesty, the list is very close to being spot on. And really reminds me how damn well-balanced this game is. It's gonna be weird playing in brokenville (marvel) again.
