Capcom-Unity has the next set of winners for the Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition fan art contest. The producer of the game, Derek Neal, has once again offered an overview of why each piece was selected, which is nice to read in conjunction with looking at the images below.

The first and second look cool, but for some reason the second one looks like a trace of another piece of artwork from some manhwa series.

Remy is my least favorite Street Fighter Character ever (And I hope he never leaves Third Strike).

Cool Art though, my favorite is the second one.

the first one looks fantastic. You can't go wrong with a classic oil painting look. Very traditional.

The second one is impressive, very professional, looks like official Capcom work.

The 3rd one, I don't know, fun style but the character looks a lot like the new KOF style, reminds me of that awful character Ash Crimson. Also.....the stance is kind of........whats the word im looking for.....off gender?

All pieces of work are great.

third picture really shows remy's gay side lol. the artist kind of went into his seductive gayness with the outline of his pelvis.

definitely not my cup of tea and i'm not sure if remy was intended to be a gay character. i think he's just really emo.

i find remy is more useful than guile and charlie but he doesn't give much to the sf story as much as them guile and charlie

Remy is such an emo effeminate twat...one of the worst character designs in SFIII: Third Strike in an aesthetic sense. But then again, his gayness pales in comparison to the superfag extraordinaire Ash Crimson of the KoF series. I fail to comprehend the Japanese obsession with androgynous girly-men.
