Computer and Video Games caught an early review of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 from the UK magazine GamesMaster, where they awarded the title a 90% score and a Gold Award.Though it says that new players may have "a hard time following what's going on let alone influence the chaos" the simplified control system always "makes something spectacular happen" so anyone can enjoy it.
Fights feature "a few moments of magnificence per match" thanks to the lenient mechanics but also engages the hardcore fighting game player through "ludicrously complex combos".
Although some might find MvC 3 "too explosive for its own good", the folks over at GM said "they can't get enough".
Meh, Lets wait 6 months. Then see how the reviews look.
This sounds like the review of a scrub. It would probably be 80% if there was no simple mode.

Soul Calibur for Dreamcast. And that was cuz of the graphics/presentation.
But make no mistake soulcalibur was a beast of a game nevertheless
While I often go to reviews to look for an informative opinion on a game I'm curious about and plan on getting, I personally don't care much about reviews on fighting games.
That's mostly because unlike other types of games like FPS's or RPG's, the experience for fighting games really depend on how much you enjoy the mechanics and how well versed you are in it (i.e your skill level). Since I don't know anyone from the major gaming sites that are pro fighting game players, I typically take their opinions with a grain of salt.
I already know I'm getting this game, and since we already know who the last boss is, there really isn't anything left to know. The game might get some awards at the end of the year, but really it's he fans and the community who'll determine if this game has any staying power.
Can't wait to get my hands on this game and then ragequit it, haha. But seriously, this game looks great.

Some Spanish magazine gave Mario Galaxy 2 an 11/10.
one: fugg a game review, most review sites are bought off and MADE to say certain things. Make your own deduction :)

Most of you guys don't get this review. It is from a casual gamer, for casual gamers. It's people like this who score the game really well that will actually make people go out and buy it. F*ck hard core fighting game fans, when they make only 5 percent of sales.
I love fighting games. I already know I am going to get this game. I don't need reviews. I've seen all I've needed to see.
So hyped! And less than two more weeks to wait!!!
@19 You do realize that your posting on a site for hardcore fighting game fans right?
As for your comment on the reviews, I really doubt the scores will affect sales that much. Most people who enjoy fighting games at any level will pick this game up because of how popular/fun MvC2 was, and newcomers will flock to this game because it showcases all the popular marvel franchises like Wolverine, Iron man, Cpt America, and Spider-man.
Even our they buy MvC3 because it gets good scores, they won't enjoy it if they dunno how to do special moves or combos and they keep losing online.
