More stats for v2012 from Japan featuring Daigo, Mago & others

Updated: Lynaken sent in a few more match stats for Kuroken's Dudley, which you can find after the jump.

Notable contributor, Lynaken, has sent in the latest batch of Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012 match stats from Japan, featuring players like MCZ|Daigo, eLive|Kazunoko, Younashi, Iyo and more.

Daigo has continued to stick with Ryu and the number one ranked Juri player in the Japanese arcades Younashi did extremely well only losing to a few people during the matches.

Mago REALLY doesn't like the Sagat vs Makoto matchup it seems. Also overall his Gachi results with Sagat have been Sub-Par compared to his results with Fei Long in AE.

I, personally, like how Kuroda is getting into SFIV. He's done wonders with 3rd Strike and the parry system. I want to see what he can contribute with the SFIV system.

People really think Kuroda lacks footsies? His footsies are REALLY good. He just lacks basic SFIV-specific knowledge since he just started playing it.

Daigo looking awesome with Ryu. He may have dropped him for Yun in AE, and went on a fling with Gouki but even now I don't think any other Ryu comes anywhere close.

@11 Kuroda has been playing SF4 for atleast over a year now. He isn't good at SF4. There aren't any reasons or excuses for it, besides, it'd be unfair if he was a god at that too!

Fuudo doing good with Fei. But maybe he should go back to Ryu. Fei is nerfed and Ryu is buffed. And he used to main Ryu in Vanilla.

3s players are not good at SF4? NO WAY! It's not like the games are completely different or anything and revolve around two VERY different styles of play and very different gameplay mechanics, oh wait...
Some of you guys say stuff that boggles my mind.

Whoever the hell thinks Kuroda lacks footsies should watch any video of Kuroda playing 3s ever. His footsies are godlike.

As a 3s follower, I have to say each people have their own game.

Kuroda is godlike in 3S but just an mediocre in IV.
Mago is a top player in IV but was nothing in 3s days. (You can easily search footages that he played 3s on YT)

And if anyone think 3S players are not good at IV, Haitani and MOV will meet you tomorrow.

Daigo was pretty good in 3S, and is gdlk at IV.

IIRC he won SBO with Nuki in 05, placed well at Evo 03 and 04 (2nd for both) and was top 3 several times at some Japanese 3S majors.

@hismit: You forgot to mention Nuki. He was the 2nd best chun-li in vanilla SF4 right after Nemo and arguably the 2nd best chun-li ever on 3s after MOV.
He quit SF4 in late 2009 and if I recall correctly he said that he didn't enjoy playing SF4.

They totally do because SF4 allows you to get away with A LOT more BS due to easy-inputs, huge reversal windows, backdashing, Ultras, and FADC. A lot of the pressure tactics that you could apply in 3S you can't do in 4 because people can churn butter through your blockstring or combo and wait for you to mess it up or wait for a portion where it's not a true blockstring and get out for free. If they're really worried, they FADC it to make sure it's safe. If they tried this in SF3, they would eat normals all day. In addition to things like Ultras and being able to backdash, FA backdash to beat meaties and a lot of Option Selects, you have a much, much more defensive-minded game where the most important thing to do is make sure you do things that are safe and can beat reversals as opposed to making sure you are being aggressive in a smart way.

When you suck in IIIrd strike it's fairly obvious, from my observations.
