...Wow...just...wow. I think this proves that I haven't been completely insane when I've said that the hitboxes in UMvC3 are out of control. Reminds me of that video of Hulk's standing H hitbox. Long story short: things that you think shouldn't hit you?...they do... So yeah...WTF?!

Why did they take Doom from "good" to "stupid"? He actually required a modicum of skill to use before, now he's just... scrubby, and all because of one move.
when I saw the actual hit box I was expecting something like the "Trollverine" dive kick hitbox(found here:http://i55.tinypic.com/sqo1o7.png) but I froze literal, I stopped drinking my AMP and just stared at this maddness the hit box is ON HIS BODY and not just some of it ALL OF IT except for the very back of his head and left shoulder..
I assure you this is just the start, the hitboxes in this game are ridiculous. Still waiting for Hulk's H, Akuma's Tatsu and Zero's... everything

Block? If blocking isn't your thing it'll still lose out to invincible attacks if your characters have one, oh and XF guard cancel should work (though you'd probably have to follow with a jump loop combo, since he recovers in the air)
that's not a hitbox, it's a damn sleeping bag!
also, i find it very interesting that the shapes are rounded (instead of all rectangles like in SSF4).
i can't wait to see some more, especially:

funny how people complain about Doom's j.S when there are so many other air normals that have better hit-boxes and cause hard knockdowns or ground bounces
I don't think the foot dive itself is necessarily brainless but that hit box sure as hell is.
I don't believe that Dante hitbox...If that's true then where's the invisible fart that causes hard knock down from behing when Dante does J.S????

The Doom hitbox isn't THAT great. The vulnerable portion isn't protected by the offensive hitbox by a great deal.
The sword hitboxes on the other hand say "Don't even try and AA this"

YAY there it is. This story had nothing to do with Wesker, but you were so mad that you started it up here. At least the other front page article where xuses uses a team with Wesker where he almost never uses him to win and just uses the assist to OTG (not unblockables for whatever reason) involves Wesker in some way. Did I mention Vergil does 90% of the work? Anyway thanks for the mad derail.
personally i think there are different active hitboxes on startup for the trenchcoat bros. down sword attacks, assuming these are real. ive been right behind them in the air so many times not hitting buttons and they still manage to land a hit
