That pose when he does his optic blast i the sky, when he makes the arm cross is my pose of choice. Cyclops is still a beast; at least i play him!

Most kids on here dont even know this game.

Cyclops was my fav. Hes the original character with beam attacks in a capcom fighter. I always used him since children of the atom. I was mad when they left him out of marvel super heroes and him being an assist in mvc1 and of course im upset that he isn't playable in mvc3. Cyke has been in a lot of capcom cross overs. Idk wtf marvel was thinking leaving him out.

CYCLOPS LOVE!

This was my favorite game as a kid... I always played Iceman and Cyclops! This game brings back lots of good memories.

I miss the character specific multi-level stages

I played this game on the sega saturn. My favorites were wolvy and psylock. At that age I thought this game was godlike.

This definitely made me miss Psylocke and Cyclops. Feels bad.

That was awesome!

I also miss some of these characters.

I have fond memories of playing this in the arcade.

Loved this game so much back in the day. There was nothing like it at the time. Not the most balanced game in the world, though. And people think Wolvie's bad now???

This and VF Remix were my first Saturn Games. I love this. Look how cool the backgrounds are, full of cool ideas and designed with much heart. Much better than the bg`s nowadays like the boring ones in Marvel or the "just HD Wallpaper"-things in King of Fighters...

Never played this too much back then. I was still a youngin' of 9 years when I first saw this come out. I was too scared to play cause all the big kids kept hogging it at the arcades.

Must say though I had no idea Akuma was in this.

@anon1010 yea man good old Gouki was a hidden character in it, probably what spawned the Vs series idea in the first place although I don't think he had his Shun Goku Satsu Hyper Combo unfortunetly

also another interesting piece of info you may or may not know Anita was also a playable character in the sequel Marvel Super Heroes and had Akuma and Mei-Ling/Lin-Lin, Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei's twin sister, as backup

Amazing game to this day. Obviously broken but still fun.

MvC fans should brush up on their history and play this.

@17 I'd say the mvc3 backgrounds have much more character than these, even though these are extremely nice too. In general Capcom does an absolutely amazing job on all their backgrounds.

This was my first game.
It spoiled me. I thought every game was supposed to be like this.

Holy cow Sentinel combo. I never saw that one.
