Whats the deal with the Costumes always bein Default, 1 Rounders cept after the first match in Final round, Not only Gettin DQ'd after beating someone in a match Cause' they whispered in your Ear & you push them but They get a win For it too while you Get Removed from the Residence lol. The Dan face was worth it & Everybody bein' like Camille abused Dan. I didn't realize there was a crowd for 1 Rounders that was hype though, some Random stalker comes in Offers him his stick too use :P. "Street fighter wins B-A-K-E-R'S F-I-E-L-D!" lol. I hate you. You kids are the reason I cannot enjoy video games with my girlfriend. Even if she walks with me into a game store, she gets looks.
After serving our country I got into fighting games in order to relax. My girlfriend enjoyed, at first, my new hobby. I cannot play online with her, without you virgins saying "omg are you a girl?!??!?!" then making vulgar remarks. Same goes with tournaments, I entered 2, and all the questions I got were about my girlfriend.
The purpose of this "rant" is to explain that the video game community has a bad "rep" with woman. I do not know why, but it is sad. I do hope all of you decide to grow up. And I also hope one day my girlfriend can be involved in my new hobby, without being snickered about and verbally abused online.

Calm the hell down. This is what happens in any activity/community that is heavily oriented towards one sex. Also, it probably doesn't help the fact that men are naturally horny monkeys. It's not "fair," but that's reality.
Seriously, would you go to a baby shower full of women and expect to be treated or looked at equally (terrible example, but I can't really think of female-centric activities at all)?
My frustration comes from not being able to enjoy my new hobby due to immature "kids". Now I know it is mostly men, but seriously, some of you need to grow up. The second a girl shows up you guys are like "OMG a girl???" as if you have never seen one. I got my girlfriend to watch one stream with me.....and that was the end of it. All the posted comments, even on eventhubs, were completely vulgar because there was a random girl there.

Well #21 seems to have his head on strait. Again it is my opinion about how I feel, so in response to #19, im voicing my opinion on a topic which gives the community a bad name.....which is what the internet is for, voicing opinions. So if ppl decide to "rub it in", it is there choice, because its the damn internet.
To stay on topic, the series is ok, I thought the first episode was great, but it is turning rather corny.

I wasn't being vulgar, I just made an honest opinion, one that I would have made regardless of whether I played or didn't play video games or whether Camille was or is involved in video games or not. @37 I've been on Eventhubs for a while and so far nobody has given me trouble because I'm a girl. But it's not uncommon for people to be confused as to why a girl would be interested in a hobby with a predominately male community. It's just how it is. You just eventually learn to ignore it. Mostly though, you have a lot of people who don't care and see you as a fellow fighting game fan, as obsessing over their gender gets them mad and they won't return. They treat you as one of their own. Ranting about it on the Internet towards other people who merely complimented a girl's looks isn't going to change anything. The only thing you've gotten out of that is delicious salt.
So what I've learned today:
To be mature you have to make sure you don't compliment attractive girls. If you ever see one, just shut up and shy away. Remember, do NOT share those opinion to anyone else neither, or else you'd really come out as immature.
However, I'll sacrifice myself for all of you. If you see an attractive girl, just tell me. I'll go there and compliment her for you. That way, she'll think I'm immature and hate me for it, and then love you forever.

"Boobies or get out" is the first thing someone wrote to me after i said that im a girl on this site. Usually i talk as gender neutral as possible on Gamingsites and on Xbox live because its really annoying to get harassed either sexually or by salty Guys who apparently cant handle being beaten up by a girl and call you fake for no real reason.

I dont know if anyone ever, in the fighting game community, made a compliment about skills or anything like that. Its always looks, and even thou i will sound like a plain old feminist or something, its just annoying that Women get objectified like that. A girl is on the stream and there is no comment about the fighting, but how hot or fat or ugly she is. With Lisa Foiles it doesnt bug me at all thou, because shes clearly going for that sexy geek thing and is riding it hard. And it fits her too. Shes attraktive enough , but also plain enough that its believable that shes a little bit of a geek.
