How is bad for Ibuki?
Ex Neckbreaker completely shuts down Akuma's fireball game, air or ground. Tatsu>Sweep doesn't work, far HK only hits once if Ibuki is crouching plus she has better normals air-to-air.
Sure you can safejump, but 5F reversal isn't bad, and she still has decent AA.
What is the Ryu Seth match up? Seems like its at least 6-4 in Seth's favor.
@1
No
@2
I agree. IMO, if Ibuki is played to her potential she has very few (if any) "bad match ups".
Once she gets going it's very hard to stop her. She can run the same Vortex, Crossup, Mixup game on the entire cast.
A proper Ibuki turns everything into a guessing game.
@ #1
Clearly an Ibuki player who doesn't know what he's doing.
She has way around fireballs (and can punish them too), can easily punish teleports, and rips him apart with what, 2 mixups? It's actually the other way around, can be a very unforgiving matchup.
Akuma also cannot set up his standard vortex game (Tatsu into sweep doesn't work, far jab has horrendous hitbox and works reliably only on bigger hurtbox like Sagat or Abel) against her, and standing roundhouse whiffs completely on a crouching Ibuki.
from what i gathered ,mago didnt touch feilong since a month now.
Play in arcades only evry 3-4 days thus seeing him alot in online which is truly doesnt reflect his skills.
been lately having prolems against juris and guiles.
Kazunoko and daigo on the other side are bulding BP and destroying everyone on their path.
the surprising is how kazunoko got to 124,323 BP with 73.24% ration 2,747 match played and the first seth in japan in such short period of time?
but im happy that iyo download him and upload him every time they play since this weekend.
go go go ibuki powaaaaaaaaaaa!
one thing is sure:
Yōnashi (even though i hate juri) is an amazing player and will probably see him against top players,my bet you will see a lot from this guy.
juri player:you know what you have to do?get ready for clutch play!
I don't fully remember the chat logs for 2012, but did Fei Long really get nerfed THAT badly? o_o
Also I think Mago is making those videos of him trying out Juri and Gouken etc. on the side so he can find a new main to switch to if Sagat really doesn't work out for him (just my theory though).
@14
you know a lot of pro play character that they have lost to.
sometimes to feel or to think as your ennemy its pretty common actually.
mago losing a lot to yonashi juri might be the reason why we see him play her alot.
i remember hearing kindevu saying something like that.
@14 the last time they posted his match results even Fuudo was struggling with Fei Long. That more or less is a sign that Fei Long's days as a top/high tier are numbered.
@2,6,and 10
okay let's all pretend fireballs and crouching round houses are the only part of Akuma's game. ow8... akuma is the most versatile character in the game.. i forgot =/ anyway...
Ibuki shuts down every fireball game that's obvious so akuma can't zone against her at all.
akuma wins at footsies and because his vortex is stronger than Ibuki's (especially in this match up)
Akuma can teleport out of ibuki's vortex and ibuki has a 50/50 guess of which way to option select neck breaker and if the Akuma player brings u2 then she can't option select at all meaning akuma gets out 4free.
go rewatch clakeyd vs tokido and see how successful his vortex was and look at how many times tokido was forced to block a mixup compared to clakey.
@2 Ibuki's 5 frame EX reversal is one of the worst in the casts and extends her forward and if you say it's safe because of the kunai after then you're a scrub and shouldn't talk to me about Ibuki.
@6 you're a scrub. you obviously have no match up knowledge and i'm not going to detail character specific vortex's to you, please see your specific character section over in srk.
@10 Akuma has to make a few match up specific adjustments and that gives you the right to call it a bad match up? i can't use my standard target combo against a crouching akuma does that change the tide?? Also Ibuki's tsumiji loops don't fully connect on Akuma with certain set ups... does this mean it's 7/3 match up because i have to use 2 different bnbs?
Akuma vs ibuki is a terrible match up for Ibuki
