switch to viper beated him 6-4
switch to ibuki perfected him 3 times.
and i didnt use my yun yet.
all this to say,that juso ,uryo and dunhill can brag about their sakura all they want but they will not see jack shlt in tourneys.
and go go go go shiro.

i think valle is still stuck with AE changes in his psyche.
he still uncounciously play like he was in AE,maybe he needs time for maximising his cr mk potential.
Sakura's mix-ups are weak you're better off just finishing the combo.

i just wanted to say that sakura is garbage,its cool to talk heories and stuff.but at the end only solid character will prevail.
between buddies you will use sakura,hakan,and experimenting,finding new stuff.
but when money is on the line.all the theory fight go to garbage.only solid play stays.
we will be convinced when we see them winning big tourneys and not some random western tourney,or even better: japanese tourney.

As an old Sakura main, I can safely say this Sakura really wasn't that impressive. Had it been a 2/3 set Valle would have adjusted and bodied him for sure. The Sakura didn't do any buffered low forwards into srk, and did the most un-ambiguous resets after the ex tatsu. Needless to say, I was not pleased with Valle actually getting hit by those.

Hahahaha, you guys can talk head allll you want about Sakura, it doesn't hide the fact that you guys suck with a technical player like Sakura, when you master her, she is TOP tier, Japan community knows it, I know it.
I've even beaten WOLFKRONE on ranked against his viper with Sakura, and Hsien Chang 3 times, and perfected him against his Yun. You guys need to realize it's the PLAYER who needs improvement, not Sakura, once you learn her frame traps(which I didn't even see Hornett try once), learn to only continue them on hit confirm and to buffer her cr. mk -> HP Shouken from dashing distance so you can hit a dash forward, you'll be really good with her, maybe not Top Tier like some others, but just keep it up, After maining Ken and Yun, I can tell you those two take FAR less skill to master, and that most people who play shotos are mashing pussies :3 even #40 ranked ryu's those trolololol's.

I agree with you, this Sakura player is no where near rubbish, I would like to see some of these so called Sakura 'pros' here in this comment section actually put a video of their Sakura defeating Valle. One of the important things about fighting games is to use what works in the match, Gimicks or not, that Sakura definitely worked, its not like its new technology anyway, also Sakura dont have as many mix ups, I say in that desperate situation its good that he tried mixup and evtually made a come back.
I've been watching hornett since vanilla. He's a very underated sakura real under the radar but he puts in work. I appreciate the mix up just because it's rarely seen on these sites. Just because he doesn't play like uryo doesnt mean he's not good. It just shows you can play sakura two different ways to win...
