Mago and Tokido play Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 online

Well, I guess it's nice to see another game that's not Street Fighter. Now if only we can get some KoF.

Damn, didn't Tokido was that good already with Doom and Magneto. He's great with regular Phoenix too!

Win or lose, Tokido is extremely entertaining. I don't even understand what he's saying but he always sounds so into whatever he's doing.

Which team was Mago using? Or do both Tokido and Mago play Mag/Doom/Phoenix?

I guess #1 couldn't mean seeing top players play different games in general and not specifically on this site? Then again I see the confusion being that this is a capcom only place. Anyhow cool vids, holidays, and all that!

Tokido basically turtles and uses the same basic tech over and over and the same combos. It has worked (occasionally), he's a great competitive player, but it's boring. I was happy to see him get his clock cleaned at Seasons Beatings. His GvE set was painful (the JWong beatdown was nasty).

He's a phenomenal Street Fighter player and he shook up the scene at CEO in Marvel, but his play style is boring and uninspired. All the respect in the world to his skills, but I'm not into it.

Well, if I was playing a Phoenix team, I wouldn't rush down either, just saying...

tokido is lookin real insane with his team synergy. def a threat to be reckoned wit. to all haters...yeah, right.

I noticed Tokido is prematurely ending his combos with a Hyper Grav, which always seems to connect. Is he mixing up between this and Air Exchange? Baiting mashed S, perhaps?

Tokido is just playing like how it should be played, but man that doom looks cheap as hell in Tokido's hands.

i think he is exposing his characters loops to maximize damage upon hit confirm. doesnt look like he cares if the combos are pretty or fancy. surprised he isnt playing wesker.

after close watch i noticed that after he knocks down with magneto he calls in missles from doom and uses attraction to pull them into the missles on the way up and relaunch. soooooo sick. i take back my last post. very fancy.

Gotta respect Tokido for being so good at a game that nobody plays in Japan. The fact that he can beat so many American players who eat, sleep and breathe Marvel is impressive.

Mags/Doom combo at around 13 minutes in video one literally made me rage quit the video. That was just so sick.

As someone who's mained Doom since release (and Marvel 2: Rogue/Doom/Sent), its crazy to see him in the hands of someone like Tokido. Clockw0rk is still my favorite though but I never thought my no question to be second favorite Doom would come from Japan. Hope he sticks with him for when he comes stateside again.
