Asuka performs her super arts in Street Fighter X Tekken, screens

Capcom released some gameplay footage of Asuka in Street Fighter X Tekken early this morning, giving the community a look at her Super Art and Cross Art in-game, the latter with the assistance of Lili.

Here are a few screens as well.

I tend to believe that during development, Capcom actually had Ono-san do the mocaps and those wacky facial expressions.

I for one hope that the trailer of Lili and Asuka fighting Chun-Li and Cammy does not make them rivals. That'd be a big wasted opportunity for a Sakura and Karin team.

Woot, there's mah Tekken main. After months dealing with that teaser of her taking on Chun, it's finally nice to see her in motion in this game. Can't wait to see official gameplay trailer of her so i can see how some of her moves have transitioned =)

wow... i never realized how much i disliked the game's visuals until now... characters have that inky thing around witch is not smooth, life bares are "simple" yet heavy on the eyes, hit effects dont seem "natural" and have a bit stuff to many. And to finalize the Finish "bang" was outright bad... i disliked SSF4's one, but it was tolerable cuz they always had that stuff, but this? just to much confusion.

video quality does not help i know :D

Why does Asuka look...good? Most of the Tekken cast don't seem to fit the change over to Street Fighter at all.

@19 - honestly, she maybe the best of the Tekken cast design wise, but that's not saying much. All in all, her along Howarang = my main.

Those Super are just boring, you'd think aikido would make for some awesome moves - and she's way better in Tekken.

The UI in this game still looks heavy, they're not as clear as other games. Should be far easier on the eyes, hope they change something.

asuka's super looks lame,but she seems pretty fun to use but I wish it wasnt cammy&chun vs lili&asuka bad rival choice needs more karin

About the whole Sakura & Karin thing: Sure, that rivalry would have made sense, but remember that this game has pairings like Zangief/Rufus and Rolento/Ibuki, so not everything is clear cut. If SaKarin are in, it just means that their rivalry might be more unique and interesting.

I actually like the rivalry between Asuka/Lili and Chun-Li/Cammy. They should pair up Sakura and Alez from Street Fighter III since they both want to fight Ryu against Jin and Xaioyu! :)
