The second video after the jump is a first-to-5 set between LLL|Ryan Hart vs. Korea's Laugh. Laugh has switched his main to Fei Long and Ryan Hart is still using Sagat. Video courtesy of VesperArcade.
The last video is four minutes of Sako playing Ibuki thanks to YogaFlame24. This is the first footage of Sako playing AE 2012.
Submitted by Zhi, Rafael2487, Ryan Hart and neoWhite.
At least the Guy manage to damage him to nearly win the round ... hahahaha
Oh my goddddd!!! If tokido doesn't start using Seth the right way he should stop using him! Seth is only for nonstop frantic rush down! How dare he space or zone even for a second! Lmfao! I main Seth, so I'm kidding of course but all the little frauds think if you're not spazzing out the whole time you don't use him "right". EXPOSED!
That Gen play honestly wasn't all that great. Too many mistakes and he barely pulled it out against someone learning another character. Imagine when Tokido fully learns him. He is a great Gen play but that performance was not his best. In the Ryan Hart video...that Fei must make smarter decisions. No Fei should ever jump back on a Sagat (or any fireball chucker) from full screen.

"Oh my goddddd!!! If tokido doesn't start using Seth the right way he should stop using him! Seth is only for nonstop frantic rush down! How dare he space or zone even for a second!" Seriously though, he has too little health to be used as a spacing character. Poongko is the best Seth on the planet, and he rarely backs off from his opponent unless it's Gief or somebody with HUGE damage output.
You're not playing Seth right.
Am I missing something? Not only did Tokido look terrible, but he lost. Why would anyone think this is a good example of Seth play?
To quote the great Alex Valle, "Rush That Sh!t Down!".
Sorry, not saying he's bad or anything. But compared to other Pro Seth players this seemed Slow and Sloppy. He has no flow.
I hope he uses Akuma.
@ panda ur a retard, u never read full comments. I didn't say he should be played as a zoning only character. I said I get scrubs like u sending me hate mail because I use Seth period. He's got a ton of options and depending on match up I adjust. Some rush some spacing. But no matter how I use him morons like u think u know how to use him or better yet how I should use him.
@ the other Seth comments, keep playing turtle fighter, if u stand there doing nothing but waiting you're no good. Just another online scrub, get used to it.
Ryan hart gets too much negativity in the community for a player who is consistently good at games throughout the years. Very entertaining sets from both him and laugh. Its a bit weird laugh switched to fei-long even though being nerfed, is it some sort of thing he likes to do e.g. pick people who were previously op'd and show they're still viable?
@beehol poongko is greatness, but hit reckless style gets him in trouble. Try reading through the full post first, it did ur riddalin where off? 90% of online players are gimmicks. Either its a shoto turtling or a charge turtling. I could name a few great players from both types but its pointless bcuz I hate you.
Goddammit! Stop all the "OMG Tokido is going to switch to Seth" talk! Tokido is not going to main Seth! He already used him back in Super...so nothing new here!
@Aluppoj
That's what you call terrible? TERRIBLE? Wow, You have a strange definition of 'terrible' here, to say the least!
@19
Yeah, compared to his Akuma or any Pro Seth we're used to seeing that looked pretty sad. What exactly did you see that blew your mind? I've never seen a Seth move so slow. The character has terrible walk speed and Tokido seemed just fine with crawling across the screen!
But hey, it's just my opinion. And I'm entitled to it. Maybe I'm just that far beyond you?
If you found this play impressive on Tokido's part I'd be interested to know how you react to "actual impressive" gameplay!
Do you have a seizure and Sh!t yourself?
Seriously, people who think Tokido's seth was impressive are kidding themselves. It wasn't. It was okay, but nothing fantastic to the point where you can say he's a top-level seth. The only reason why he almost won the last round was because Xian got impatient and tried to chip out seth with the EX roll, which led to that combo into ultra. I don't see how that was impressive at all.
Seth needs to dominate or he gets dominated. With Seth's crappy health, he needs to go big or go home. I think thats why most rush down Seth succeeds over defensive Seth's...which is also why PoongKo's Seth is so good.
@ aluppoj,really.
@ mana let's see ur level of play. Gamertag is the same on psn, bring it.
@Aluppoj
"What exactly did you see that blew your mind?"
Learn how to read!
I never said that! I never said that he blew my mind or that he played impressive!
I just don't think he played "terrible" or my definition of "terrible" is just different.
If you found this play terrible on Tokido's part I'd be interested to know how you react to "actual terrible" gameplay!
@gteksownsmemoney
*sigh* Cody is SOLID, much like he was in super, nothing else -_- if you want a godlike character play gill in sf3
@8
Xian hasn't been playing Gen that long -_- plus its online play so you can accurately judge if a player is impressive or not. I know I won't go for certain combos online even if i can land it offline consistently. Xian has some of the best reactions and probably better execution then most of the top players.
@danny2times Why do you wanna play me? I don't understand why people think that you can't criticize someones gameplay in a game if you aren't as good as they are in the game. There's a difference between knowing what to do in game, and actually applying it. Not saying I'm bad. I'll play you if you want. I use to main seth so i have no problem using him.
@32 Asian connection is 10x better than North American connection, even with FIOS on PC.
LOL @ Cody having the best frame traps in the game and "amazing get off me moves". You sound like someone who just gets bodied by Cody.
@#32
Wasn't Gen Xian's main in the beginning?
@33
Lol at "amazing get off me moves"
Ex CU has 7 frame startup (Easily safe jumpable)
Only hit invincible the first 4 frames (Before the move even comes out)
Only invincible to throw 2 frames before it's active.
-11 on block (Easily punishable)
Overall, a sh1t get off me move (Costs 1 meter).
Ex Zonk 16 frame start up (Easily safe jumpable and slow as sh1t)
-7 on block (Easily punishable)
Needs 3 bars to make safe
Some moves beat it out clean such as ex tatsu
Meaty moves are safe against it
Overall, also a Sh1t move and clearly not "Amazing"
@41
No. He was a Sim player, then he switched to Yun, and he switched to Gen a bit before AE 2012
Wow ! His Gen is sick ~~~
