@4 not only that OnlineTony's Seth will destroy him too. I can see Kazunoko winning with Seth but I have a hard time seeing him reaching the level he was previously with Yun. I think Seth belongs to the same category as Viper for being a character that's a bit too crazy for the Japanese to understand fully.
lol, i dont think onlinetony's seth would beat kaz's, thats funny
of course online tony cant beat kuzanoko. just like how tony didnt beat poongko's seth in casuals before evo. no way that an american cant beat a japanese player. thats just unheard of now in days. its impossible for a american to ever go to japan and get 4th place with honda in a gaunlet of sagats. its impossible for an american to ocv a japanese team with viper. these things NEVER happened......GIVE ME A F*CKING BREAK.
Another butthurt american fanboy... worse than daigo/poongko dickriders.
And your examples, as well as your spelling, are a good showcase of your intellect :).
USA! USA! USA!
lol online tony is the biggest seth fraud out there.
A couple of these posters do seem overly sensitive. Seriously:
@4, What bandwagon? How is everyone jumping on this bandwagon? Does giving a good player respect exemplify this badwagon mentality of which you speak?
@6 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall a lot of talented US players journeying to Japan recently. Didn't they say something like: "Japan has Viper on lock"? I also remember Uryo's C Viper being pretty badass way back when.
Kazu's Seth is pretty good, but not good enough to where he can win tournaments. He still looks like he doesn't really understand matchups too well with the character, which is fine. Once he puts more time into Seth, I know he'll do very well.
Also, all this talk about Onlinetony not being able to beat Kazu's Seth is ridiculous. Tony has been playing Seth since Vanilla, while Kazu just recently picked up the character. Kazu's Seth looks more keepaway than risky rushdown, which really doesn't fit Seth's gameplan in AE/2012 after the jumping limbs nerf. I've seen tony do extremely well against these types of Seths in mirror matches and I've seen him hold his own against Poongko. To say that he can't beat Kazu is just silly.

you heard here first kids.
#23 No its not. A certain region will develop a certain style, and too play on high level in japanese arcades you cant be too risky so they developed a very cautious playstyle. The risky style cant really be developed because it gets stuffed. Sure there might be Japanese players that also play risky, but they most likely didn't learn in the arcades.
I'm hoping to see a pro still using Yun, or heck, starts using Yun now. I like the matches where Poongko used Yun :P
