people act like japanese players are so much better then americans but if u watch that 2nd video that ryu tried to shoryu about every 3 seconds just like crappy online american players
@#4
A lot of the japanese players tend to show more respect when playing, however that opens them up to get beaten by scrub tactics like Gamerbee does with Adon's NJHK and the fact Daigo uppercuts everything near him as Poongko displayed. Japanese players arn't that much better if any better at all, people just beat themselves when playing them. I am more challenged by a random online ryu or ken who is going bananas than any professional player who knows what they are doing, because I can anticipate how they will react, when fighting a full blown retard you can't anticipate anything but retardism.
@#4
Personally I think they are, but thats 'just my opinion'
@5
Daigo uppercuts a lot in one set and now he is a scrub... lol
If you think these vids show top level japanese play then you are mistaken, the 3rd video with Akuma was horrible and yes I can easily say I am better as watching that match was just painful. There are many japanese players that can't fly out of japan due to jobs families etc such as Amiyu etc etc. We see all the pro Americans because well thats basically what they do and the majority of tournaments are in America.
Do you vs professional players? random ryus and kens have different tactics which are just basically mash shoryu through all block strings etc it is called learn to do true blockstrings and learn to block. I'm pretty sure any professional player being from japan or america would destroy you especially if you think online scrubs are harder to beat.
@ #5 "I am more challenged by a random online ryu or ken who is going bananas than any professional player who knows what they are doing, because I can anticipate how they will react, when fighting a full blown retard you can't anticipate anything but retardism."
I couldn't agree more.
Lol at Akumas spamming roundhouse all day long. They will learn it the hard way.
Everyone on Eventhubs must be godlike right? Easy to talk until you are sitting in the hot chair.

Your post screams out retardation. Typical Ryu/Ken flowcharts more challenging than professional players? Hmm, I wonder why we don't see retards placing top in tournaments. Or rather, when do we ever see flowcharts doing well consistently anywhere? Gamerbee has nothing to do with the level of respect Japanese players have and/or scrub tactics. Everyone(including Japanese and American players) simply did not know the match up against Adon, hence why Gamerbee placed high and did exceptionally well at Evo.
I just seen that clown put 'Gamerbee' and 'scrub' in the same sentence :S
wOw
LISTEN TO THE WEAK AMERICANS ... LOLZ
SOME SCRUBS SEE SOME FOOTAGE OF LOW END FIGHTS BY JAPANESE SCRUBS SO NOW IT'S TIME TO DECLARE THEMSELVES AS BETTER THAN JAPAN WHILE HAVING NO ACHIEVEMENTS AND MAKE AN ANALYSIS OF DAIGO THE BESTIAL-GENIUS .....
WHEN AMERICA START WINNING TOURNAMENTS AGAINST JAPAN LIKE JAPAN HAZ DONE TO THEM NON-STOP THEN YOU PUNKS CAN SAY SOMETHING.....
PEOPLE TRY TO USE THE FACT DAIGO USED YUN TO BRING HIM DOWN THEN THEY DECLARED MAGO HAS LOST HIS TOUCH AND CAN NO LONGER BEAT AMERICANS - YOUR A BUNCH OF LOSERS HOPING FOR A MIRACLE OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS.
It's always easier to pass judgment as a spectator and pretend we are all experts then when it's our turn to play. Record some of your own matches and watch them and see some of the scrubby mistakes you make, then come back and watch these videos.
...and don't act suprised about what you see.
@18
i agree , but i reguarly record and watch almost all of my matches im not a noob and i plan on hitting the tourny scene very soon ive just been money troubled as of late with the economy.
and sorry but there is a difference between making some mistakes and resorting to panic shoryukens at everything.
that said i aint trying to start a flame war just wanted to say their is pros and joes everywhere.
I think what #5 is saying is that some people are soooo bad until they are "good". Like some tasks are so menial and repetitive they get hard. Against better players you kind of can anticipate what they are trying to do and act accordingly, you might not win but it's a more "normal" match.
When someone just starts going crazy pulling moves that don't normally get pulled in certain situations, it's like what are they doing? I end up smiling like whatever. You can figure them out soon but sometimes it gets you the first time around!
@13
I think you are missing the key point which is "online" play. Ive had many times where I block a fierce DP, go to punish and then get counterhit by another for 200 + unearned damage just because of a few frames of lag. The same goes for throw teching, when I literally can call a throw before it happens press tech and still get thrown.
Online scrubs thrive on mashing DP through anything and crossing up endlessly with tick throws. Its extremely successfully hence why people complain about it. It makes no sense that I can give a 3000pp player a good close match but get blown up by a random shoto bro for free. Not everything is as black and white as you think.
@4
I think people mostly claim that top Japanese players are better than top American players.
im getting tired of this game... been 3 years.. bring on sf5 already
^ So you visit EventHubs, click on a news story containing SSFIV: AE 2012 matches, watch six of them, then take the time to comment so you can inform an uncaring group of people who also came to watch those matches that you're not interested?
Right. We'll all get to work on SFV for you now.
Poor Hakan player, randomed out by an adon spazzing out. Sad to see that people still just breeze thru his oil dive like it doesnt exist. @0:18 seconds int he video he KNEW adon was gonna jump and did the oil dive, just for it to rub against him midair. The start up on it looks much better but still looks pretty useless. How much effort do you have to put out just to land a mediocre move, near impossible to use it on someone jumping in, neutral jump, jumping on wake up... And hakan cant really pressure anyone to stand block as crouch teching exist and he has no overheads.
But Atleast after that rant i can say that starting with oil is pretty damn good to get momentum going early, but still too easy to lose it and not get it back as displayed in the video.
Well lets see...I went to CEO because people say go to tournaments because it is high level play...what did I see?I saw garbage. Nothing but garnage. I wasn't impressed a single bit from anyone there, specially from the SF community. I see better players online all day long. I didn't say Daigo was a scrub, I did say people respect him to much. He uppercuts A LOT, and people just sit there and take it like retards. Gamerbee NJHK ALL DAY LONG with Adon against EVERYONE and noone punishes this? Are you kidding me? Kids need to get off "pros" dicks because they really arn't impressive. PSN: KazigluBey Come show me how impressive "pros" are, or ill meet you at next CEO kids.
when it will be released for consoles ?
