Cross Counter Running Sets: Shiro's Makoto vs. Fuudo's Fei Long

I personally have a hard time getting excited to watch AE with 2012 right around the corner.

Lol at the Over 9000 title.

Anyway, Fei was such a weak character in AE.

Ive always wanted to see Fuudo vs Kazunoko in a F10 before 2012 version though.

Fuudo is an awesome player but I just get wicked bored watching Fei matches. I'm glad some are shying away from him in 2012. Specially excited to see if mago sticks with Juri.

As a fei player I think Makoto is one of his easier matches. I would definitely like to see fuudo fighting a really good chun for a while. That has to be one of my worst matchups. And when I play chun the fei matchup feels almost like a joke to win.

Yea I agree with you, as a fei player i find very difficult against chun players, because chun has such good normals (pokes) footsie, and split kick is so hard to react to .

Fei is def one of Makoto's worst matchups. Any character that is simply BETTER than her when she gets up close and able to handle her c.MP poke range is a hard matchup for her.

Rekka to punish whiffs, flamekick on wakeup, and he has a command grab which counters Makoto's main defense of simply blocking + backdashing.

Makoto has to heavily rely on good reactions and baits.
