"The Street Fighter" is the story of Phil, a journalist who loses his job and enters the world of pro-am fighting game tournaments to earn the respect of his son.
A daring new dramedy webseries from The Game Station, directed by Layne Pavoggi and shot on the Red Epic by cinematographer Jon Na.
0:24 alex valle lol! i wonder if other pro gamers will make cameos.
The cast seems to be made up of a lot of "youtube celebrites" which kinda puts me off...
Yeah if you add up the amount of YouTube subcribers from the three people I recognise (not including Valle) in that video, you get 4,278,742. Youtube celebrities are kind of obnoxious, dunno if I want to watch this
I agree, YouTube celebrities are annoying and stupid.
Although, most celebrities are annoying and stupid.
Either way, this makes me a little wary to watch as well.
I've had an idea like this, but I was thinking more along the lines for a comic/graphic novel.
This looks dope btw.
Akuma players take themselves way too seriously.
This guy lives up to it.
It's hard to say this in their channel cause there are way too many fan boys there and they will bash me to hell but.. As much as I like to watch SOME contents from the Game Station, they are generally REAL bad actors. Its almost embarrassing sometimes to watch. I'm ok with some bad acting, but unless its a 2 minutes or less with not much dialog, they just make me laugh most of the times.
well, they probably wont be good at the game, they will probably dont know what they are talking about, the acting will probably suck and the production quality will probably be bad and wont have any charme for anyone who knows more about Street Fighter then Game Station. But im going to watch a few episodes and judge it then. The concept is great and if the right people actually contribute and guide them a little it could be entertaining. Who knows.
This is going to be the saltiest series and greatest fighting game series ever, and that trailer chiptune soundtrack.
I hope we get a TV series like this, or something we can watch on XBL.
Ah Excellent Adventures taken to a higher level.
