Roundup: Bar Fights this weekend, King of Chinatown on iTunes

• Gootecks announced that Bar Fights will be taking place this weekend on December 11. Matches will include coL.cc|Mike Ross vs. FC|Jago, coL.cc|Combofiend vs. MRN|Marn, BA|Viscant vs. EG|fLoE, Fanatiq vs. BT|Clockw0rk and more. They are also doing a Sound Blaster Beat A Pro Challenge, where anyone can take on Mike Ross, Combofiend or Filipino Champ and if they win they get $200. This event will be streamed by Team Sp00ky.

• The director of King of Chinatown wrote in to say that the documentary about the fighting game community is now on iTunes. It's nice to see a film about our scene get a lot of attention from other media outlets.

• GamerNode did a complete history of fighting games article, which covers this genre from its roots, up till today.

• A few videos of a Street Fighter 4 slot machine were sent in a ways back. Nothing overly exciting here, but if you're a big fan of slot machines, check this out.

Sorry if I am wrong on this but you might want to read the fine print on that Beat a Pro Challenge they're running at Bar Fights Catalyst. It specifically says any SPECTATOR, i.e. anyone who comes to the tourney as a spectator and only a spectator. Any competitors in either the main tournament or side events dont qualify for it IIRC.
