Also, Caj814 showed how some of the intro fight quotes change with the new costumes.

@1 You just said you don't like Peter Parker cause they are the same person up until the night Ben realized he was a clone.
Not cool. lol
this has to be one of the most dumbest desperate thing i've ever seen capcom do to make a quick buck. these costumes should already be up for grabs the moment the game was out. infact these were release 2 week early by accident.come on capcom step it up.

they have unique dialogue
Their reasons for not using Nelo Angelo for Corrupt Vergil's Devil Trigger are ****ing bull****.
****ing hell, Capcom, you want me to pay for ****ing **** that's already on the disc and then you **** it up and get it wrong!? I would be more willing to pay, knowing I'm getting ripped off paying for CODES to unlock stuff that's on the disc, if you at least bothered to get it right.
Movesets weren't an issue with all the other ones, now, was it? Like, Talbain Amaterasu, for example. Or whatever-that-stupid-thing-is on Felicia.
Disgusting.
@17 So go eat a wahhmburger and don't buy it. Nobody's holding a gun to your head you crybaby.
lol its funny how people say "dont like it dont buy it" and yet supporting capcom when they put less and less content in their games is only going to make things sh!tty from here. Ill go support Namco or SNK since they dont make games annually and cut content they put on disc just to sell it to us again
I never got the Dante dlc so the Vergil dlc will be kool for me, but it is disappointing to see that they used the same DT for Vergil.
vergil could have been different fro mthe one they made for dante (aside from the subtle changes that were obviously necessary - their swords/weapons).... but all the other seem to be fine IMO. and i never got the costumes in vanilla so it's not that big of a deal for me anyway lol
i get so sick and tired of "dont like dont buy" people complain about not wanting Capcom games to have "customization" cuz you dont want to fight people online using silly costumes or whatever, yet if they release a DLC pack, for which you PAY for and it looks silly, you'll probably fight it online the same. it ends up being customization no matter how you put it. so not wanting customization is stupid, and "dont like it dont buy it" is too. i get it that people can sound a bit rude or whatever when showing their complaints towards Capcom, and yh no one forces them to buy it, but that does not make anyone feel less ripped off.i have a personal vendetta against DLCs in general, mostly those that are already in the DVD (if this is the case than i agree with you all, paying for something on the disk is plain stupid IMO) but i personally dont have nothing against this DLC cuz i wont buy it, probably not even the game. but that does not mean it is acceptable to do a little more work on a character and charge that much extra. i cant exactly compare, because it would not be fair or it would not make sense, but ill use Tekken 6 as an example.
that game has 0 DLC as far as i know, and it has been around for the same time as SF4. you have 2 different costumes per char, different, not recolor, and in some characters, about half the roster, a third special one. the 2 initial costumes can be changed however you like, with phew limitations. only downside in that game is 2P has no access to them :/ and the only extra content that game had was a Co-Op campaign so to speak, free btw. although i dunno if it was announced prior to release but either way.
what i mean by this is that if this "mindless" support carries on, they'll just start releasing games with lackluster content and add DLC for that. there is a difference in offering more for a price, than offering something that feels that should be there, for a price.
Deadpool looks nothing like Cable. I've looked everywhere and he never wears that outfit. If someone can show me a pic of Cable in that outfit, it'd be great, because I cannot find it anywhere online.
@27
This took 2 seconds in a google image search. Cable never wore the outfit... deadpool did.... which is why its an alt costume FOR DEADPOOL. What a horribly complex tool the internet is to use, eh?
http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/3/...
I'll still wait for the full pack in March and get them all at once.
And as far as the dont like it dont buy it thing, whatever floats your boat. What I find highly amusing is the "omg capcom you didnt give us this costume instead, F--- you and your game" people.
They make me laugh everytime.
Damn this site needs an edit button.
btw 27, Deadpool and Cable also had a 50 issue series together as well if you're still wondering where the idea came from.
I find quite laughable that people (as usual) try to defend Capcom with "Don't like it, don't buy it" posts when they cleary know what's the real issue. Well, here it goes, as far as I can see, all these alternate costumes could had been added already in disc, in game, why? Well, perhaps to give the players a bit more of contnet (as if the game is not barebones enough)for their money, but no, Capcom as always loves to milk their costumers and give them games with only 60% of contnet at full price and the other %40 as DLC THEY COULD HAD ADDED ALREADY IN DISC.
Hatters gonna hate, nut Mortal Kombat 9 added alternative costumes already in disc and it kicked the ass of all of Capcom's fighting games in sells.
So the thing is not "Don't like it, don't buy it" the thing is "Why are they trying to sell me something they could (and should) had added already in disc?"
@17 Jesus go play DMC then, troll. I spent all day with a 2 month old. She cried less than you. No one gives damn about a lame a$$ looking Nelo ANJELLO.
@31 MK also did dlc costume packs which could have been added on the disc as well... so you're point is what exactly?
And if you are going to blame anyone for "barebones" releases from Capcom, blame the competitive community for that one. Casuals are the ones who generally want more content while all the competitive community wants is 1-2 modes period. Versus and Training. That's it.
MK is a perfect example of this. it was designed with the casual player in mind over the competitive side while most capcom games are designed the opposite, or god forbid the community goes ape-sh!t on them.
#5, 6, and 7
ok did you Dumb fools even read my commit? i didnt say i hate the costumes, i was trying imply that capcom is being greedy by releasing these costumes week by week. they are trying to space out the amount of people aware of the costumes but moving making them available on certain days. but clearly you guys are slow in the head and have no grabs on who the money making industry works so ill live you cows to moo when capcom is milking you. Say Moooo

thats the way people are. i really hate when people say"Don't like it, don't buy it" thank you captain Obvious >__>
i already have this pack bought it like last week when it was supposed leaked and not leaked idk lol but anyways i want them all i only wish they would be here sooner i play with every character in this game not incredibly well mind u but i get bored quick and it keeps it fresh for me and its always fun to have ur fingers on all the roster anyways its nice to see a refreshing costume cant wait for taskie

@34 the "klassic costume packs" are not free.
Also I fail to see what you consider a "barebones" game. What exactly are you expecting. yes MK went pretty far with game modes, but pretty much every other version before that from Capcom or ANY OTHER company was just a single player arcade mode, versus mode, and some kind of training mode.
UMvC comes with single player arcade, versus, mission, training, the galactus mode, and soon to be released FOR FREE Heroes and Heralds mode.
That's 6 game modes vs the normal 3-4 in fighting games.
So again... your point is what exactly?
So what? 1 pack with 5 costumes for sell against 8 packs? And still, we're speaking that one HAS alternate costumes alredy in game, UMvC3 has not.
And by more contnet I'm nos speaking just about game modes (becauise your point fails, Heroes & Heralds is unbalanced, Galactus mode just sucks, training should not be conciderated a game mode because (damn, the title says it) it's TRAINING. I'm speaking about more stages, (not just 8 stages with other 8 that are just the same but in the night or snowing) alternate costumes already in disc, more contnent in gallery, good enings, and more REAL gamemodes like survival, time attack, tournament or Story mode and not plane lame modes like Galactus mode which gets boring after the 2nd match.
Just face it, 10 years waiting, two versions of the game out, and it's still dissapointing.
@27 I know he wears the outfit, I just never saw Cable with it. Don't be a smartass.
I'm going to still wait for March to get them all. Besides, it's better for me.
@38 I'm a bit disappointed that your argument hinges on stages and "REAL game modes" as the reason for a game with fifty unique characters being bare-bones. If you had a more legitimate argument, it would've been considerable, but if qualities that don't change gameplay make it bare-bones, then I have no clue what your standards are.
@39 Why would Cable ever wear something like that? It's Deadpool's version of Cable, it's meant to be absurd and amusing--that's how his character is. If he dressed exactly like any Cable outfits, then that would be the obvious and Deadpool always does the unexpected.
People keep ignoring my initial argument about the costumes, and it is the fact that they could had been added already on disc as EXTRA contnet for the game (Becaus ethe game itself lacks on any kind of contnet outside the gameplay) But okay, if you wanna argue about gameplay standars, let's talk about that, how about the fifty unique and Unbalanced characters tat may have either infinite combos, overpowered moves or the fact that the X Factor is still a broken mechanic (there is an old phrase named "if it is not broken, don't fix it" MvC1 and ,MvC2 didn't had X Factor and they were cool, why the need of an X-Fcator here then? Or, about game modes, let's talk about the so awesme Galactus mode ](which doesn't feet inside this "competitive" vs game everyone love sto talka bvout and gets complety boring after match 2.
But no, my argument wasn't that, my argument keeps being the same, shame on Capcom trying to sell something they could had added already in disc.
Nope. They added costumes because they wanted to sell something as DLC. If they didn't want to sell something as DLC they wouldn't have created the costumes. The costumes being on the disc from day one is irrelevant. They were created with the sole purpose of being sold as DLC.
@44 I directly targeted your bare-bones comment. Despite your initial argument, your reasoning makes no sense. Even if they decided to do away with the DLC costumes altogether, what about it (the game) is bare-bones? You went off on a tangent about stages and other modes, and I'm just reading your comments and not wholly agreeing.
All-in-all, your arguments basically say:
1) I'm not good at this game, therefore I'll dislike any and all possible content to be added.
or...
2) This game is not my style, therefore, I'll criticize the game for only it's downfalls and not recognizing its good points and accomplishments. (Come on, your comments are so biased that my eyes begins to burn as I read them...could be the lack of care in typing carefully as well...).
@47 What the...? Your supositions are just ridiculous, just because I critice the game does it means I'm bad at it? Where the hell did you get that from? Have we played online? Are you spying me while I play at my home?! Perhaps your eyes burned to much and you didn't read aquarettly, please, take your time to read posts, respect other's opinions and think before posting coments that make you look like a total douche bag.
grr I don't like you Ben Riley or you Scarlet Spider suit. Now Deadpool's makes me laugh
