Watching these are so irritating. There's good info in these videos but Jago's attitude just makes my eyes roll. It's not funny, entertaining, or impressive, it's just annoying and displeasurable to watch. Also, I love how even Yipes said on stream recently he thought Jago was an ass.
You can tell by the game itself that SNKPLAYMORE is trying really hard to make KOFXIII good and they really done a great job on that, but pirating is not a great way to respond to their effort. Yeah I know it's China they don't give a flying duck to copyrights whatsoever but still. The most played fighter game in china is KOF, they just don't seem to be understand that they'll only get quality games from SNKPLAYMORE when the game company get enough profit from people that buys legal products.

Funny... the games KOF spawned from (Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury) were pretty much Street Fighter rip-offs with a slightly different control scheme.

The two times he loses his sh!t is when Jan empty jump knees > Ultra 1. Does it twice in two games and he falls for it both times.

#9 - Call'em rip offs if you dare, SNK's fighting games did alot to bring innovation to the fighting genre.
Also Street Fighters own developers went to work to SNK and produced Art Of Fighting and Fatal Fury.
Is Jago just trollin? I know he does it as a persona kind of thing but Rose is a very difficult to play and the things he points out are some of the only things which make her appealing or any good half the time. I know his probably just pointing out her strengths in an entertaining manner but sometimes it a bit difficult to gauge wherever he thinks rose is a bs char or not, you know?
I think Jago entered troll mode one day and couldn't disengage. It gets irritating parsing through this sarcastic mire to find the nice gems of info. I wish the player using Ryu would have pressed crouching medium to further disprove Jago's sarcastic comments cause that beats almost all of Rose's pokes.
If it wasn't owned already it'd be nice if Jago changed his name to Sarcastro.
The character he shows in the footage of the ripoff fighter actually uses 3 or 4 of Iori's animations from KOF. They are exactly the same.

I'm surprised Jago didn't talk about max range Rose slide. That move is incredibly hard to deal with for some characters. It's pretty easy to do it such that you'll get it to be -1 to +2 on block and be able to fish for counter-hit crouch strong xx Soul Spiral that will make the Soul Spiral safe on block. I also don't understand why he thinks Focus Backdash is great for Rose when every single character has this option to beat option selects like the Ryu safe jump OS. Rose's great backdash makes it better, but it's not something that's Rose specific.

You can't option select fadc dashes since your initial move is hitting thus the os doesn't come out.
The only way to beat it (I think) is if they abuse it and you predict it and after the initial jumping roundhouse or w.e, you walk a bit forward and do a sweep. This can only be done with a few characters however you completely lose your pressure if they get hit or block since you continue the combo if you would have hit and blockstring if they block. Can also be done for some ultras eg Cody's ultra 2 etc etc but still not very safe unless you're 100% sure it'll hit.
Os can only be used against normal backdashes.
I am aware of how it works, since I figured this out on my own. What I don't understand is why he says this for Rose when every character in the game can do this. As I said before, the only thing that makes Roses' version of this way to deal with the OS is that she backdashes farther and her recovery is very quick; however, it's not something only Rose can do which is how Andre makes it seem in the video.
1. I understand why people might not be in love with the whole abrasive attitude/condescending schtick... but don't you see that it's just a gag? These guys are trying to do something different. Maybe they haven't gotten the formula down to where it's going to please the greatest number of people, but I say bravo to them for thinking outside the box and trying to have some fun while delivering some really great strategy info. If you aren't feeling it, try to be more constructive instead of "WE GET IT ANDRE YOU'RE ANGRY" or whatever haha
2. On a completely different note... really wonderful tribute to sk, Andre... can't imagine anybody summing up what it means to be a serious fighting gamer, and the bond we all share, better than that.

wow. people really? you guys gotta be kidding me. first of all the name of this video is actually a troll and you know if you're going to watch this, you know what you are going to get. if you don't like a video or the personality on it, the easiest thing to do is NOT WATCH IT. this is insane, if i say to myself "hey Jago is an ass and i hate his TV personality." why would i watch him? SMH
I respect jago and his skill. I actually picked up a lot of info he shared when commentating but this mellow-dramatic stuff he's been on is meh. I know he's trolling but it's like "WE GET IT! You're a rebel emo dude who doesn't care what anyone thinks." Knuckle up duke. I'm not saying shut up and fight but it's tiring and made me lose interest in any of his projects.
