I've heard of KSing (Kill Stealing) but Win Stealing? No one is safe any more!
@15
lol how is it a replay error when ibuki only won 1 round and took the game. If it were a replay error there would have been 3 rounds. But guile obviously won that first round then the round transferred to ibuki.
If you look at the Meter, when the round ends and when the 2nd round starts, the meter gauge is different
my guess is a replay glitch
I don't think the round actually ended there because Ibuki obviously could not take anymore chip damage and he knew.
This explains the meter difference next round. Guile gained a bit of meter from a couple of extra sonic booms and then ibuki pressured, gaining meter and then using 1 bar and winning presumably.
It's a desync error probably due to lag. The inputs were not recorded properly. When played back, Ibuki gets chipped out with the boom, but in the actual match, that did not happen. It must have gone a little longer and Ibuki used a meter as part of a comeback. You can also see that Guile gained a small amount (from getting hit a few more times).
Could be that the Ibuki player is using a JTag Xbox 360. If not, that is a wild glitch.
I think #26 is right. As you stated #30 the replays are most likely recreated trying to attempt to do what the players originally did during there fight. The action must have been very iffy and screwed up what really happened.
#30 that's exactly what they are; the only thing recorded by replay mode is the inputs and then recreates them. Actually, it must also record who won the match and how (U, V, P, C, T, D or S) which is why it fixes itself after the first round. Makes sense.
#38 no it also happens if you quit after the match is over and you shut down the console or Alt+F4(on Pc) in the ranking screen, or shortly before you get ranked or something, i dont really know, after i realized im loosing points i figured it was that and always went back to the menu before i quit.
"Bizarre glitch allows Ibuki to steal wins?" No, it allows her to exact sweet, sweet justice on Guile players everywhere.
Announcer: "Guile Wins!"
Ibuki: No, I won! *Threatens Announcer with a Kunai*
Ibuki 1 Guile 0
Besides the glich, those who bitch about Guile, typically @23 @34 @35. Try yourself with Guile, and see what short of options you can come out with against Ibuki, you are given only Sonic Boom and Flash Kick, nothing else.
What Ace did is correct by staying away and Sonic Booming, as Ace is trying to avoid being too close to Ibuki and risk knocked down by Ibuki.
Knowing once knocked down by Ibuki, Guile is practically helpless against Ibuki crossups and air dagger. Just prepare to get stunned as Guile has no answer to crossups.
Ace no doubt is one of the best Guile players, but you still can see that he still having difficulty against an Ibuki.
So, don't bitch about Guile as Guile is only given two moves. If Guile is given more useful and offensive moves rather than just two moves, do you think Guile will stay back and just Sonic Booming all day? Go bitch about Ibuki for given too much of offensive moves then.
listen to all the guile haters and Ibuki lovers in here. Guile is what Street Fighter is about. Ibuki on the other hand is one of the 3 completely braindead characters. The other 2 are Viper and Blanka btw. She doesnt even belong in the game, shes pretty much a tekken character.
hands down best buki in the world...even when they lose they win...
@45. Footsies are what all players should know when playing SSF4. It is not character specific. I am talking about Guile against Ibuki here, even player with extreme skillful footsies with Guile, it still does not help when Guile is knocked down by Ibuki.
i had a similar problem this weekend i won 9 matches in a row with el fuerte but lost bp and pp after each match. i checked my battle log and it show that i won each match so i am confused. had to reboot my system and win another 9 just to get my points back. 18 wins and only half the points wtf.
I still find It Very Hard too Believe Guile's C turned into Ibuki's V & The meters were Different next round. This looks like an editing thing too me, seeing as I have never had that happen too me once. Then again this is xbox not ps3 like I play on so who Knows how much of this Shennanigans is true.?
The meter changes from the end of the first round to the start of the second round on ibuki, video is a fake.
@51
Not only is that mentioned in the header for the video, the discussion on how the meter decreased for ibuki (and slightly increased for guile) is the primary topic for most of the posts preceeding yours; specifically #24, #26 and #33 provide good rationalisations for this glitch. It appears you failed to read them before you drew your conclusion.
@52
Thanks for reading all of the nonsense crap and condensing a shorter version for me to clearly understand without wasting my time to read through retarded comments.
Looks like capcom finally fixed that bizarre bug that allowed players to pick Guile and win in AE, goodjob guys
#30
Yes that's how replays work in every game. Otherwise it would take to much space if it would've been recorded. The replays are just using the engine and the only thing that's recorded are the inputs of both players.
Huh. FIRST I've heard of it.
JK.
