This is a mod I've been working on/toying around with where a lot of moves cancel into others. I wanted to see how SFxT might feel so that's how it started. Essentially, everything is cancellable into super and special moves and ex focus cancels only cost 250 special instead of 500 AND you can do anything during that animation. Also, charge times are near instant (just for fun).
Tip from Samsonk1.
Really nice mod. Initially I wasn't a big fan of the chain comboing for SFxT but seeing it like this makes it look hella fun.
haha, someones already started training for sfxtkn i see xD jk jk :P
i wanted sf4 to have a bad ass combo system.. which it does but it doesn't reward it.. so i was really let down by it.. i wanted fadc's to cost only 1 bar..
look at kof.. they reward badass combos.. isn't that what fighting games is? all u get in sf4 are the same boring bnb cuz its the best choice..

I see our famous ricefarmer still trolling hard, well done.
looks scrubby..cant imagine how tournaments would be if the combos were that easy.
It's awesome to appreciate the work he must have put into making this hack. Very cool, Leiro!

Fighting games are not called "combo games," and there's a reason for that. Long strings of one person hitting another repetitively without any turnaround is pleasing only to autistics; it doesn't look anything like a fight. Fighting games aren't about that at all—not the good ones, at least.
OMG capcom give dictator that power, make him the BOSS he used to be. it reminded me of CVS2 A-ism bison.
@ Irrenmann i get where your coming from on the combo thing it is pretty boring and can close off other strategies if the game purely focuses on landing 20 second plus long bnb combos (except for MVC but that game is just awesome madness that breaks about every convenience in fighting games lol)
But dont you feel that allowing for a lengthy combo to be rewarded can be a good thing to? I mean he did have a point KOFXIII is amazing, its tied for my favorite fighting game with UMVC3 and its max mode combo system and different cancels do allow longer combos especially in max mode, but it does it right imo.
So do you feel like any game should allow lengthy combos like KOF or UMVC3? Or should it all be short bnb's like SSF4AE?
@13 Havent played KOF13 but looks boring, it may be just me but it seems very outdated, still didnt raised any interest in me. Then again Neither did Blaz blue
Seems fun. It would be pretty cool to see this pop up at EVO in some exhibition side tourney.
If I get my hands on the PC version, I would give this a try.
@11 irrenmann
combos are definately the cool factor in fighting games.. and its a huge part of what a fighting game is dude, and dont talk to me about spacing and fundamentals.. duh we all know..
why do u think theres training mode? its to practice combos, kof 13 is a perfect example of having bnb and long technical combos that reward you.. and doesn't scale to the point of it being useless.. kof13 in tourneys is way more hype because of the robust combo system, sf4 is boring bnb till the very end.. u try a little flash and u get nothing in return

Combos are just ways to maximise punishment for mistakes, there are other important things than just combos, these things will open up more ways to do combos, SF do rewards good damage for combos and bnb so I dont see the problem, I play kof since Kof 94 till now so I know perfectly how it plays, every characters has their unique bnbs just like anything other fighters.

Actually I never really intended to release it. It was just for my own entertainment, but now, interest has magically blown up so I guess AI have to now. I'll need to finish every character first, but give me a few weeks. Also I just posted 3 new characters with new combos plus something ridiculous I found with Dictator.
Combos may not be the most important part in a fighting game, but sure as hell its one of the most important. Nothing raises good hype like a combo well placed or a turnaround combo that ends up being flashy and a way to match point, nothing like seeing a guy getting his opportunity at punishment or dishing out his good damage and people getting hyped, thinking this is it, he is gonna comeback now, then he drops the combo do to a mistake, or drops it intentionally for a mixup. so yh, combos might not be important to the players as footsies, spacing, zoning and all that crap, but it sure as heck its the most important part to an Audience, the culminating moment.
i would take a "combo finish" any day over a boring chip kill, or a dash c.MK. those things only get hype when its a realy tight match.
ofc combos are a double edged sword i my self dont liek that a combo can lead to insta death or like in MVC3 where being hit by a light punch you loose 50% or more... and suffering said combo for a good amount of time can get a bti boring yes. but then again when they think its over and the dude survives it just generates more hype. they end up being like a Ultra, just that instead of imputing a command and having the char doing everything for you, you do it yourself.
TBH I wouldn't have mind this, would have definetly made things some what more interesting.
Well in my opinion, combos like this gives the game replay value, bnb combos on the other hand get repetitive fast. Due to the damage scaling these combos don't do much and that's fine by me really, I would use these for style and to drain time off the clock while keeping the opponent occupied which is itself a strategy to win that people don't consider.
SSF4 is trash anyway. Its good someone made a GOOD version of a crppy trash nooby scrub freindly game. Nothing in sf4 takes skill thats why its a joke. its popular because its dumb and easy buts its a joke
Not enough pushback? But still, this is pretty neat.
