Just like with 4s timeline.
They put in whoever they want. So 5 should follow suit.
SF4 became a complete joke the second AE was announced. I clearly remember Capcom, "confirmed" that SSF4 would be the final iteration of SF4. Most people were more than happy with SSF4, but then they screwed up so bad with AE that they need to make a FOURTH iteration of the game to fix it when the third iteration wasn't even supposed to exist in the first place.
That is just sad.

Just about all the venues we can stream from have terrible internet which murders just about everything. Nothing US folks can do about it. And looks like they got good direct feed from the arcade cabinets which also helps greatly along with their godlike internet.

Okay, okay. While I think that SFIV still have some shelf life into it. I'd have to agree with people wanting SFV. I mean , how many iterations can a game have anyways? I know that Capcom have been milking their SF franchise since forever (remember SF2?), but geez enough is enough. This better be the last version of SFIV. I swear, i'm moving on to other fighting games once I get tired of SF. Stop this nonsense and let the game have a decent run before doing another patch! GEEZ!
Now days its kind of a gamble to buy anything 1st release from Capcom games, you just know there is another version coming afterwards and its not far either....
