I get what you mean dude. It's cool to have a game that's better balanced, but man a new good game would be much more hype. They should've sticked with vanilla and just balance it out, and then move on to SF: 5th strike or something. People put too much importance in having a gigantic roster these days anyway.
I'm glad they stuck with this game, but I agree - it's starting to get kinda stale.
capcom just hypes up everything. Its just an update its not a new game. its the same thing but I do enjoy the changes made to my characters.

im liking Bisons changes. not that he needed any at all (im a Bison main). i feel he was quite solid in AE, but with those minor buffs im happy. i just hope those minor buffs dont get people to think hes broken/OP LOLOLOL. even if they do i wont care anymore. this is the last balance patch, so nothing they say will bother me.
I think you guys think v.2012 is more exciting than it really is.

just the other day someone said el fuerte was OP because he didnt know the match up. I cant even begin to imagine all the "people" who think bison is broken.
capcam love to squeeze every single bit of life out of their games. if u think they were going to let sf4 die after 1 or 2 years to bring out SF5 then youre sadly mistaken. besides people would complain about sf4 dying out too soon. i wouldnt mind sf5.. just stating how it is
I'm excited that Capcom put in the effort to re-balance SSFIVAE, and it is free to boot. Heck, they could have just moved on... but Capcom recognizes that SFIV has a fan-base that was indeed requesting changes. In my opinion, Capcom really did a fan-service on this one.
P.S. I'm already looking forward to years of "Gem re-balancing". :)

Yea but there is something wrong with being bored with a game, but still coming to the game's forum and putting down other people that still like it. Nothing wrong with trying to "perfect" a popular game. Chess has been around for a couple thousand years and people are still playing it!

I liked the roster of SF4 vanilla. The commentator, the music. Like one of us here said they shoulve kept it Vanilla and balance it out. and save all these new comers for SF5. I have no idea what theyre gonna do for SF5 i dont even think theyre considering it for now.

couldnt agree with you more. shows the true colours of those who only played SF for the first time. i lasted 7 years with 3S and almost my life playing Alpha and SF2. i dont understand why people cant stick with SF4 a little longer.

Back then you couldn't have the luxury of hoping for new games as much as now, but now we kinda do. There's no honor or whatever in playing a videogame for 10yrs, though there's nothing wrong with that if you like it enough. It is just my own personal perception that I think this game is getting boring. I don't need to be told "oh go play something else" or "we don't need you anyways scrub".
I and many other people that don't like sf4 anymore are just speaking our mind we don't need other people telling us to shut up.
I just don't have fun with this game anymore I am ready to move on and I just wanted to tell event hubs that, is there a problem with not liking something and telling others you do not like it.

I think why most people get mad at others who complain on here, is because it simply doesn't add anything at all to the topic. Most of the time it's not funny, helpful, or even a question. thank you for your respectful post, I think the reason why I am bored of SF4 is just because I have been playing it for too long and simply enjoy other games more than it like 3rd strike, blazblue and marvel. Keep in mind too that I still love SF4 it's just that I enjoy most other fighters better.
It's good to see Ryu's H.Shoryuken back to 1 hit and his crouching M.kick to normal but unable to FADC from H.Shoryuken is a dissapointment

It isn't "back to normal". The Active Frames are back to normal. The AE Hurt Box still extends past the Hit Bot.
The adjustments to the Air Tatsu seem confusing to me. So I'm not sure if he can Corner escape or not.
The Damage on the single hit SRK is nice. But it'll be strange switching to Strong SRK for FADC. I've been using fierce for four years!
I've heard Fierce SRK cannot hit as a Mid Air combo anymore... Does that mean he cannot SRK after Short Tatsu?
