The Rose guide for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition has been updated here on EventHubs. Inside you'll find relevant data and combos in the event that you want to understand how to play or defeat Rose. Once v2012 hits, this guide and all the other SF4 guides will be updated to reflect the relevant information from the changelog. Thanks for the updated guide. I'm gonna try to write one for Elena but I still have so much to learn.
I can make a complete Dante guide for you in the near future if you want to work something out- it'd be cool to have it on the site and not just on the forums.
Hit me up, Catalyst. You should still have my email from the contest, right?
It's unbelievable that VEGA (claw) still has the Vanilla guide, but you change Ryu's guide the moment Ver.2012 is announced. I've even mailed several times and said I can write the whole guide alone if it'll be accepted. And no answer. At least you do it then but before playing with shotoboys guide for the 4th time :S
Why has it taken Eventhubs this long to realize the MvC3 guide should be like an actual guide to the characters instead of just showing their moves? The MvC3 "Guide" is a joke right now until it can be more like the SSF4 guide.
+1
The completed guides are decent (though the ones in the forums are WAY better), but the ones that just show moves are next to useless. Up 'till Ultimate, I've just used SRK's character guide and I have to say, it's very well done; and will probably continue to be well done once they add Ultimate to it.
It's also a shame to see that it takes a month for each character guide to go up...I have no doubt we'll be waiting 'till August before we see a Rocket Racoon guide up on eventhubs.
When I first started using eventhubs for SSF4, it was an awesome place to learn how to use characters, but it seems like it's slowly falling behind on the character guides...but at least the news page is always up to date.
@15 I actually thought about doing a RR guide in the forums, but first I wanna do a Nemesis guide.
Light punch soul reflect also gives a damage boost to the super and both ultras, 7% with every absorbed fireball and up to 35% (i think)
And her soul throw is great if you can read your opponent, i love to use that move to show that im in my opponents head, and in my experience a lot of people start to question their offense once you connect with it, and they crack, or keep the game on the ground wich is rose strenght, so its a great tactical option.
Her Ultra 2 is also a good anti air if you guess a jump in, and it wont cost you anything if they dont jump, and you can combo into a soul throw for some extra damage if you catch them in the air, also worth mentioning is the cross up ability, especially on wakeup, with a soul throw that doesnt actually goes over the opponent its her best mixup, and a good way to pressure defensive characters that are good with teching your throws.
I think those things would be worth mentioning.
