Wow, that first round was freakin' sick.

Anyone know the reason why Daigo decided not to enter SBO this year?

I like how Mago, Tokido and Uryo got shout outs, but Nekojita is in all 3 of the posted videos, and he gets no respect. He knocked 2 out of the 3 of them out of the tourney and only lost to Mago.
Big props to Neko for keeping Abel represented.

I expect to see that first round in another video, accompanied by a certain piece of music.

I would not have thought it possible, but after seeing the first video, I hate Abel even more than before!

@4 Nekojita is one of the best, if not the best Japanese Abel player. He did so sick in this tourney(Took out Tokido/Uryo), its really too bad that he did not win. Would have been awesome to have Abel representation in SBO.

I was totally disgusted by how much damage fei can pull off in just 2 seconds in the last video. One reset is all he needed to stun and kill a character.

That's exactly why Abel is my main! You get knocked down once and it's the beginning of the end for most players.

Never Nekojita before but now officialy one of my favorite Abel players, besides Rico Suave. Glad I'm not sleeping under that rock anymore. xD

Wouldn't Sakura have won that first round if she did a second shoryuken right before the comeback, when he was knocked 20 feet in the air by the first one? You can do that, right?

You can only juggle another Shouoken with the Light version and he used Heavy. He could have used EX Hadouken though, but he probably just wanted to save meter.

Sick comeback = sick, but man, I hate to play Abel so much.

it was an execution error from uryo.
it was supposed to be neutral jump tatsu cr hp and hp srk for chip to death.
hado came out instead...
quite ironic, given the fact that his execution is godlike and that blockstring is hella easy to do.

@13 ...... that's what makes it exciting. Maybe March Madness should be double elimination too .... or not.

Plenty of characters can do that much damage off a reset and stun and with full super and ultra. Fei could have done more damage but he went for the untechable knockdown.

Some chars are and not limited to: Cody, Seth, Akuma, E. Ryu Makoto, Zangief, Sakura etc etc.

What surprises me is that you said nothing about Sakura's damage and stun from the first match and she missed her combo which would have done mroe damage.

@27 You do know that sakura's taking huge risks by performing combos with multiple tight links? Same goes to other characters, they all take risks. Fei does just that much damage without needing to take risks and that's where the problem is.

Fei has some tight links, light HK chicken wing into close standing HP. (1 frame I believe, with a large delay between doing one move and the next)

Jab/close standing MP into sweep is a 1-framer too, as well as crouching jab into another crouching jab xx Rekkas.

(At least I'm pretty sure)

I do agree though, his damage is insane - and standing jab into close HP is 1 frame easier in AE now (2 or 3 now?).
