Stiffler2100 also runs the Gouken central discussion here on EH forums. He has done a great job with the guide and is of great benefit to any Gouken players wanting to know where to begin with him.
Bit unexpected, thanks for posting this. If it weren't for this website I wouldn't have any viewers and for that I thank you :)
yeah, those fuzzy guard setups are only useful at the very end of the match and will be punished on hit or block most of the time by all but a few in the cast. I do the same thing with adon's neutral jump HK to close out rounds on an opponents wakeup cause it beats out a good amount of options.
if people still need help punishing blanka balls seriously just give up.
@Chickenwings I'm sorry not everyone is pro and amazing like you.
I'm sorry, but I must have some dyslexic reading going on here. Every time I've scrolled past the title of this article I see:
Gouken punishing fuzzy balls
-.- wtf
Yeah, while the fuzzy guard tech with Gouken is nice and a good little trick to have, I'm quite sure a number of the cast can punish him if they're still alive. Sagat could probably Reversal Tiger Cannon 'cause of Gouken's slow jump. Chun could super/ultra, akuma/evil ryu/oni might be able to demon, etc.
Still, interesting find nonetheless. Props.

it doesnt take a pro. There was threads about punishing b ball for every character since vanilla. Its sad that most people are quick to hit the forums to cry but they dont want to take advantage of the information. But thats todays gamer, o well.
@10 no, no no no no. You do realise the game has changed since vanilla? You should of watched the video before you commented, AE there were a lot of changes to the blanka ball and Goukens punishes for blanka balls. I thought I'd cover them to clear things up, since his SSF4 punishes didn't all work.
Hey, not fair. Blanka's balls should be fierce, lol.
