Seth Killian and Christian Svensson discussed a few subjects relevant to fighting game fans recently on Twitter and the Capcom Forums. Subjects run from the PC lighting issue that the community discovered to finding out more details on the changes from the SSF4 AE v2012 location tests. Hit the jump to see everything.
There's a lighting issue with the PC release of SSF4 AE. Can you fix this? — DarkSamus
Svensson: This should be fixed in an upcoming title update. Once again, good find.
Can you give any info on AE changes? I'm curious about Dudley's Rolling Thunder change. — Srslygtfo
Seth Killian: There will be some good stuff coming out of the upcoming location tests — I'll try and give a few tips on what to look for.
How much is Namco really involved in Street Fighter X Tekken? — CheerfulJochan
Svensson: Namco isn't really involved in development on our side, nor are we on theirs. The deal was, no approvals required from either side to let the teams worked in as unfettered a manner as they'd like.
That said, I'm sure Harada-san and Ono talk all the time about their plans and I'm not sure of how or if there's any cross-pollenation that happens casually through those chats. There's certainly nothing formal.
Thank you for SF3 3rd Strike Online Edition! Can we see this sort of treatment for more games? —
Svensson: We're watching this particular title's performance very carefully. We'll see.
How can we get Capcom to put CvS2 on PSN/XBL? — Makoto Nanaya
Svensson: I'd hate to say it but in the priority list of projects, because there's a third party which complicates things, it would fall quite far down the list of opportunities for us to chase.
Developing games take years and other than Resident Evil Capcom announces new games after it's been in development for quite a while. — DedValve
Svensson: Just to point out, if we started any game tomorrow, it's highly likely that it wouldn't be announced for a year or more from now and would likely be two+ years away from release. Even XBLA/PSN titles are on 15 - 20 month cycles from green light to launch.
What are the chances of getting a Marvel vs. DC made? Ono said he wanted to do it. — MKBATMAN
Svensson: The odds of that happening are slim to none.
Yes. Finally, now Ryu_Apprentice's videos won't be spazzing out and having those random flashes.
I even posted it on Eventhubs forums almost 2 weeks ago.
@ 5, 6, 7
You remind me of George and "The Big Salad."
@1 I remember them saying Capcom wouldn't likely partner with MK because the games are so different, It was something along the lines of Capcom and its fans would never want to see there characters spines being ripped out, or heads rolling all over the place, and not having this would be a diservice to MK fans...."Something like that" But personally I would love to see it, MK and SF has always seemed liked rivals to me, both the games were the best fighters of the 90's
Questions that dont have good answers are bad questions.
@Oruku_Saki
LoLz! U are not serious. I stopped making videos because of those flashes.
Marvel vs DC would be quite lackluster to be honest. Marvel has a better roster than DC
Marvel vs DC would be quite lackluster to be honest. DC has better animated series than Marvel.
@GamePirate420
You fail for the dumb mocking comment that makes no sense. The roster would actually affect gameplay. Who has the better animated series does nothing for a game AT ALL. Trolls gotta eat, so I feed em sh!t
Speaking of PC an AWESOME stage mod was just released - making the game more accessible to people with slower framerates(cuts out the processing of the backgrounds)

Scroll down to doshu's post.
DC, let's see you got Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Hawk Man, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Aqua Man, Atom, Cyborg, Plastic Man, Red Tornado, Black Canary, Booster Gold, Blue Beatle, Lobo, Robin/Nightwing, Catwoman, General Zod, Lex Luthor, Joker, Two-Face, Clayface, Killer Croc, Captain Marvel, Darkseid, Doomsday, Bane, Toy Maker. Brainiac,
With some of the superheroes and their rogues galleries (mainly Superman's and Batman's) it would be pretty solid roster. The only thing is trying to find different movesets and play styles for some of the more "punchy" characters.
Darkstalkers next! Please. Screw all of these wack crossovers!
For those wanting SF vs MK, you can have it. Me, I want Pocket Fighter vs Puzzle Kombat!
well I'm sure a new Darkstalkers is coming sometime after SFxT. Two SDCC's in a row where Ono has asked people to hold up money as some sort of petition to Capcom. Why even mention it if its not coming. Its most likely in pre-production now as we speak.
@#11
ROFL "The Big Salad."
they need to bring back Seinfeld.
How about Capcom vs MK?
