Nemesis in a suit is pretty dope.

Though I don't see the resemblance between Blackheart and Firebrand except that they both are black. The red wings aren't exactly symbolized by Blackheart's eyes, and Blackheart is more of a bluish-grey black than pure black.

Hawkeye looks like really good. He would a lot better without his mask though. Exactly like the picture.... but I guess he would look like wesker with a bow lol.

Nemesis ones are pretty awkward.

Most are pretty unnecessary. I guess I applaud them for trying, but I think this is what happens when you try to stretch 4 alternate colors into 6.

I'm more interested to see the "real" alternate costumes that they're going to be selling us when the new game comes out.

I like all variations in color,but Dormmamu and especially Tron i really like.

What i'm confused by is that they said they were "extending" the number of colors from 4 up to 6.
However Dormammu and Trons colors seem to be short 1 of their original 4.... does that mean umvc3 cut 1 of the old costumes from vanilla mvc3?

My favorites are everything except Nemesis.

I believe they got rid of one of Dormammu and Tron's alts because they plan on making proper DLC costumes out of them.

I think firebrand's colors are the most diverse. Green Goblin Firebrand is absolutely sick.

In the game Demon Crest, Firebrand appeared in a few different forms that all had various colors, so he has appeared donning more than 1 color scheme in his games.

Tron's colors for her Brothers are awesome but Wheres the Servbot one? They seriously replaced it with the pink one? NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

nemesis man thing color is pretty good and the blood red executioner color is good too. The gargoyle color for firebrand is the best one in my opinion.

3 of them are just red and black colours ...
i rather pick my own colours than let these jokers do it and where are the alts..
it's like mvc3 where only 4 characters get alts and you can't even change the colour scheme

The Dormammu alternate is hilarious because the character in that comic isn't Dormammu. That guy is from the Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E. miniseries and is named Rorkannu.

@23: Technically, any color beyond the second is a waste. It's not like you have a chance to see more than two colors per match anyway, why have more?

why did they even drop trons servbot color? that color looked so sick. her 2 brothers alternates look real good. id rather have more than six alternates though especially if they are getting rid of colors -_-

@#31: I thought they were just bumping the total costumes for each character up to 6? (for the umvc3 alt. costume promos on capcom and marvel's sites, they showed off 6 per character with 4 old ones)

@27: I don't think Tron's blue color was removed. They mentioned in the initial slide that some characters will have more than 2 extra costumes...

@51 I think it's more likely that they removed it and Dormammu's red and purple alt because they wish to make DLC costumes out of them. So we'd be getting these for DLC.

ok look I breeze through these comments and majority of them are kind of dumb. I mean come on.......... these are COLOR SWAPS not costumes! get it?

I guess the word inspiration is being used a bit loosely here...

The tron photo they posted has a red metal exterior with off white hands.

The palette swap is more pink with black hands. So....?

This all just seems like they want to change the colors of the characters and are running around in their offices looking for thigns to justify it. Marvel is using their lore and in many cases the colors aren't 100% but they are damned close and make sense.

I guess they just pretend that Demon's Crest didn't happen, Firebrand had a lot of changes in that. I think that the removal of Dorm's purple/red costume is pretty much confirmation that his alt is going to be the purple/red with full changes.

Not only no Megaman in UMvc3, they even removed Tron's Megaman-color alt? (maybe it's more Servbot-ISH, but the blue really reminds me of Trigger) ... makes me even more of a sad panda.

I hope all the characters get different colors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
