I'm glad this game is seeing some promotion, thanks Max. Hopefully it gets some of the recognition it deserves, 3S is the best game in ever made.

I played it for 9 years straight for good reason, it was the best. Gotta get back in, I miss this game.

@5 He's very humble, he does'nt try to come off as some know it all street fighter god. He's basically your best friend who likes fighting games like you do. Very articulate and smart. Thats what makes his videos so fun. He mentions things that make you go "Oh yeah I rmember!" or "Yeah I know how he feels."

Max is going to make sure you know his name. I swear he is everywhere right now.

No man,it aint so bad as Mike Ross (and to a lesser extent gootecks).
Sometimes Eventhubs feels like a Mike fansite,where there's like 3 Mike videos on 1 day :p.

Yun is easier than some 3S characters for sure, but to be good with him takes a lot more skill. If you compare Yun to his AE iteration, he's hella easier in AE. C.Strong, C.Strong, S.Strong, up kicks in AE all day. Although 3S his 123 xx GJ is heavily used, at least he's more varied.

and no one is easier than Chun in 3S.

Played plenty of this on the Dreamcast, but since I was never near a scene so my understanding of this game was limited. That being said, I'm enjoying learning it now and I'm thrilled I can finally play this with my fightstick.

I'm not sure if it was the guy I was playing against last night, but after an hour of play this game is REALLY footsie and especially tick throw heavy isn't it? Loving it so far though. I'm starting out with Urien since he's the closest to Bison as well as Remy for the Guile gamestyle. Will check out the cheap ass characters Chun and Yun tonight.

@2 yeah theres trial modes, even in the demo you can do the 5 basic parrying, dudley, ryu and ibuki trials.

It's like free pickings online. I'm not good or anything but I tend to lose to everyone I play with offline. People using Gill online and thinking they are good is just hilarious.

Great game but haven't touched it since the Dreamcast. Hope they include some of the older New Generation and 2nd Impact Levels as DLC.

Would be 10x happier though if it was CvS2 Online Edition.

You know, Maximilian is just a button master. "I'm really impatient. I don't like footsies" I can't stand it when people go all lovey dovey on SF3S all because it was there first taste of a great fighting game. SSF4 is a great game and with the balance changes AE will be great too. But fact of the matter is 3S is a flawed game. There are all of 3 to 4 characters who are really tournament worthy and the rest are trash. Whereas in SSF4 most of the cast could be played at a high level. Hell and don't tell me none of you guys haven't been beasted on by a crazy Sakura!

I love 3S and I hope one day we get another sprite based SF but until they release a balance patch to 3SO it'll always be inferior to SSF4 to me
