There are a ton more GodsGarden videos on Ov3rheadGreg's YouTube channel linked above. Clips also pointed out by Rafael2487 and Fawaz.
Sakura is really a great character, she has a lot of potential, there are just a few things that hold her back from really being a top tier character, IMO. I don't play her, so I can't say exactly what her faults are, but she has good resets, and damn good damage off her combos. Tight execution is necessary to play her at a decent level though.
Poongko gave that much at 7:45 with a note that says "I love you".
Weird to see Japan use the XBOX 360 for a tournament of this magnitude.
Could be the hitbox or he was doing it too early. Wish Itabashi would have taken it ;_;.
He missed 2 the first he did a wee bit early itcould be the same for the second or reach I'm not a Seth exp.
When i watched GodsGarden 3 things really impressed me
1. Uryo's Sakura was insane, never seen combo's like that!
2. Sako's Yang, the master of execution played a unorthodox yang that was very effective capitalizing on every combo opportunity
3. Fuudo's reactions are crazy, he may b playing the so called best character in the game but his reactions were on point, and winning evo and godsgarden pretty much cements you as one of the best players of all time.

Why exactly? Xbox 360 is the superior console for Street Fighter 4 series.
@#13
Its a bit of both. Sakura crouching hitbox and the fact that when poongko was going for the tick SPDs, the jabs where hitting instead of being blocked so thats the mess up on poongko side. Bad enough it looks like sakura rears back quite a bit when getting hit crouching, probably kept pushing her just outta range due to the hitstun.
@#14
Sir, zangief apparently isnt allowed to win :P
@ 18
Actually, it's just Xbox Live that's superior to PSN for the Street Fighter 4 series. The Playstation 3 is a more reliable piece of hardware then the Xbox 360. That's why you see PS3's at most major tournaments. You don't really have to worry about them breaking down or screwing up for any reason.
@12 It isn't really weird to see a tournament ran on a 360 in Japan when it was proven that there is natural input lag on the PS3 that doesn't exist on the 360.
Sure, PS3 is the Evo console... but that's because Sony paid money for that to happen. If you think anyone serious about Street Fighter would be okay with a constant 2-frame lag, let alone Japanese players that originated frame data, then you're crazy.
@PS3 - PS3 was used at EVO not due to Sony (but that helped) but at the time I believe Tekken 6 being developed for PS3 and the arcade machines being PS3s made it the most accurate version...To keep things simpler..Evo is became a one console tournament; instead of buying a 360 for every other game just buy copies (at the time people were still playing the rest of the EVO games like MVC2 on the Dreamcast)
The PS3 also allows for copying your save to multiple systems meaning SF4 they didn't have to unlock characters hundreds of times.
The issues with the PS3 are the wireless conTROLLer issues and the input delay in SF4; and more frequent slowdown on MVC3.
While its possible to practice with the monitor and PS3, in general xbox 360 is the preferred system for many tournaments. What really hurts is playing on the projector at Evo, between the stream and the projector(esp) the signal is split and lag becomes a bigger issue. (stream is generally a non issue but it may count for more with projector)
EX: go watch Tokido play the match he was eliminated in and see how many sweeps after tatsu he missed, which is mostly a visually confirmed element to his vortex. Fuudo also felt the lag and switched his style more defensively, notice how he rarely went for clHP after chickenwings. Dieminion and Fuudo as well expressed complaints about the latency but during salty suite he felt it played much better.
Been maining Sakura since Rival Schools. Great matches. Almost makes me wanna switch back to U1.
@#23
Yea i mentioned the hitbox thing, dont have any comparison pictures to see what they did to it exactly tho. But from the looks of the video sakura was recovering from the hitstun of the c.lp when the spd went into its whiff animation and she appears to rear back a bit more slightly while hit(could be just me). Well i stopped playing AE so i cant test between both of the versions, and seeing if that change concerning akuma far HK was the culprit in making other people moves whiff as well.
BUT as Most people usually block and eat the spd, uryo manages to get hit by the jab then the spd whiffs. Guess poongko got the tick spd timing pretty tight for it to whiff with the few extra frames from the frame advantage of the jab.
im gonna stick with both factors kicking in, as it happened a few times in the same fashion.

Good point. I love watching a top level player develop strategies for a character that are then made mainstream. Especially if these new tactics take a weak character and make them strong and respected (Sako's Cammy is the best example).
Character inventors:
Ryu: Daigo
Cammy: Sako
C. Viper: Joe
Sakura: Uryo
Adon: Gamerbee
Yun: Daigo / Kazunoko
and so on.
@32
Highly agree, the caliber of these matches are incredibly high for a smaller tournament ( by small comparing it to thousand plus entrees at EVO, ) but having some of the same hype and outcomes. It was entertaining to see Uryo, MOV, Poongko, and others play at their finest :)
I would like to see an OFFICIAL statement from Capcom to confirm input delay on PS3. Not just some dude hitting both systems buttons at the same time.
A few points:
1) Now people are saying that's it's a "Two frame delay"? Ok, lol. NO one frame links would even be possible!
2) I've completed 100% of the combo trials 3X! Once in Vanilla, Super and again when I replaced my system. I never had any execution problems! And I'm a pretty good player to boot.
3) I don't care how much money Sony paid. EVO would NOT have it as the Tournament STANDARD if the game had a TWO FRAME lag delay! That's a ridiculous statement!
So let's see some real proof. Not just the general consensus from the EV community. I'm not saying it's not true, but we've all seen how rumors and mass hysteria can affect you people. I.E "Ae has no balance!"
Meanwhile, Seth, Sakura and Viper are all doing better in tournament play than they EVER did in Vanilla or Super!
Cammy was never a weak character. It's just that no one (good) put in the time with her in vanilla. Similar situation with Fei Long. Although both characters definitely received some notable buffs in super, they were completely viable nevertheless. Also, I don't think Uryo "invented" Sakuro. Sabre put her on the map in vanilla (then Cody in Super)... and most of the Sakura play, at least on the West, was largely based on her reset game which Sabre was first to utilize very well. Uryo definitely solidified the character though. He doesn't rely on her resets hardly at all, just solid ground game, high damage combos and you know the rest. Now most Saks are moving in that direction cos lets face it, gimmicky resets can only take a character so far.. still, I'd say Sabre co-invtented Sakura, although the style has become less relevant with time.
@21 Gun_Fu_Projekt
Actually the Xbox is superior for fighting games and other games in general due to 1 less frame of input lag. 2. Cheaper overall costs 3. Iirc its very modable so you can plug a lot of diff. type of controller including PS ones in it. Or that was vise versa.
The only reason EVO has the PS3 is cause they are sponsored by Sony. There have been threads asking why not the 360 cause its the better choice, hence most of the other tournaments..Revelations..Fight nights..etc being on the 360. And even in Japan as we see now they are using it (And Japan is a hugggge Sony country lol)
This is crazy, im glad Uryo made it so far. EVO is more of a luck tournament from what I've heard/seen (Although im not a 100% Uryo joined) but some crazy players didn't make it out of pools even cause they had strong players in their pools ;/ and going into losers early = double/triple fights
Crazy, gonna watch the rest when im back.
@#41 PS3 version of the game does have 1-2 input delay. This has been confirmed by testers, people here aren't just speaking out of their ass. Just look for it on the web, I know for a fact there are a couple threads on SRK that show this to be true, using 60fps captures of both systems and the like.
1 frame links are still very possible. 2 frame delay just means you have to input things 2 frame earlier than you would on the Xbox 360 version.
EVO having PS3s (at this point) is an issue of money. It'd costs thousands of dollars to replace PS3s with Xbox 360s, and Sony still sponsors Evo. The Evo people know there exists delay on the PS3, their position is that it doesn't really matter, it's not like the PS3 version has massive frame drops or something. It plays just like the xbox 360 version, just like arcade, but the timing for inputs might--likely will--be different depending on which version you play, how laggy your display is etc.
If it weren't for Evo, 360s would be the tournament standard because most of the time the only reason PS3s are used at all in tourneys is cos it's the official system of Evo. But PS3 is known to be worse for SF4, and even MvC3 (but for a different reason, worse frame rate drops than the 360). PS3 should be dropped like a bad habit, but at this point it's possibly too late and not feasible, beside, then the PS3 players would just have to get used to the xbox 360 timing.
Yea @K/46 Explained it best.
I think Mr Wizard replied to one of the ''why doesn't EVO have 360's thread'' everyone agreed it was better suited for fighters, and he replied ''Unless Microsoft gives us a ton of cash, we will always have PS3's'' Or something similar. Itll cost thousands and thousands of dollars to switch not to mention they are sponsored.
It has been proven and tested by many it does have input lag. Really...Japan NOT using PS3's should be enough proof lol. I do love that Sony cares about the fighting game community tho, all these exclusive chars and stuff.
Hopefully the Poongko Alliance dies down. It was indeed a good club for the short 3 months.
How in the hell did this become a console discussion damn fanboys... Anyway come on someone sponsor Uryo and Itabashi both those guys were mad fun to watch and also someone brought up something interesting do people not like Kazunoko no one really shaked his hand.
I've heard there's lag on the PS3. However, the PS3 is a better system all around in terms not not dying (my brother had one and it died three times, so he went for a PS3 and hasn't had a single issue). Of course, this has been happening and is nothing new.
Uryo is a monster, his Sakura took out a top level Seth/Gief/Yun, wow. Makes Sakura look like an A tier character, I wonder if people are gonna call for her to be nerfed. lol
i thought wolfkrone/latif are the best vipers in the world oO
post some uryo viper videos please!
and stop talkin about ps3/xbox crap-.- talk about this amazing matches from uryo
@36
I agree with every one of your examples except for Sakonoko's Cammy.
Sakonoko basically took Cammy's broken TKCS, a move that the producers never intended to have in the game for the first place, and abused that move on an unprecedented scale.
Taking a broken move (A move that the makers didn't want to exist and that gave you un-paralleled advantage over many characters) and abusing it to win tournaments, doesn't sound much like "inventing" to me.
I would give Sako credit for "inventing" Cammy if he was the one to actually discover the broken TKCS tool, but people have been abusing it since Vanilla. Matter of fact, I think that the very first Cammy user to actually discover the TKCS was an American player by the name of "Allen."
The Vanilla-SF4 player "Allen" was very popular on YouTube during the early days of Vanilla, but I haven't seen much of him since. During the early days when Vanilla-SF4 was first released on console, everyone was asking "Allen" how he was able to do Cannon-Strikes so close to the ground.
At first, many people thought that "allen" had extremely fast reactions, but then people figured out that there was an input glitch you can use to easily do the TKCS.
I guess the producers ignored the TKCS when trasitioning from Vanilla --> Super, but what Sakonoko did was that he showed how badly the TKCS could be abused when playing against certain characters.
Dem mixups.
